Immediately, everyone came into action. “Please pick it up, Luna,” said Phil, who was heading the IT group these days. “And try to talk as long as you can.” As soon as I was about to pick it up, the call disconnected. “Fuck!” I lost all hope and berated myself for being a douche and not picking it up.
