CHAPTER FORTY SEVEN

NATALIA’s POV.

The gentle knock on the door makes me raise my head and I almost roll my eyes when I see the person who has just ventured into the room.

Nicholas stands at the door for a while before he starts to take slow steps towards me.

“Your aunt says you have not eaten anything all day” his voice resonates in my ear.

I drop the book I am reading and turn my full attention to him.

“Point of correction, Nicholas. She is not my aunt but a savant here”

How can I take her as my aunt when she never recognized me as her own? Michelle has always been her favorite and I am going to make her pay for treating me like trash.

“So why haven’t you had anything to eat since the break of dawn? Have you forgotten you are pregnant?”

“I am not Michelle, you shouldn’t bother about me” I snap in anger and I see Nicholas clench his fist together, he looks frustrated and upset.

“Why the fuck do you keep calling her name every single

time?”

“Because you haven’t given me a reason
