How I wish Enzo was here with me but he has a meeting that he can not miss but he promised to be here soon. ENZO’s POV. Sitting in front of the sea of eyes before me, my mind is not even on the meeting going on right now. Michelle went into surgery four hours ago and how I want to be there for her but I am stuck in this meeting which she made me promise to attend. Looking back at my watch, I still have an hour before everyone is done with their pitch and I am not sure how long I can take it anymore. “Can you not go a little faster?” My voice resonates in the entire room and the man on the podium bows a little. “Yes sir” he answers and I roll my eyes at him as my thoughts go back to Michelle. I want to be beside her and let her know that everything will be fine. My thoughts are interrupted when the mobile in front of me begins to ring and when I see the caller ID, my heart skips a beat. ENZO’s POV. TWO DAYS LATER. I groan lightly as I push my body out of the chair, my head is throbbing so badly and I just need to rest it for a while but how can I? It has been two days already and Michelle is yet to wake up. Lawrence has told me it would take some time for her to wake up but I am getting apprehensive about it and most especially because she is pregnant, she can’t be out for too long. “You need to take some rest or you will break down yourself” my wolf advises but I completely ignore it and pick up my phone before dialing a number. “Send all the files to my email, I will check them out today” “Okay sir” my assistant answers from the other end, “one of the models has been involved in an accident sir, I have been calling you but you didn’t answer. MICHELLE’s POV. “I can walk by myself” I tell Enzo two days later as soon as the car comes to a halt in front of the mansion but he will hear nothing of it. He alights from the car before gathering me up in his arms and making his way into the house. Ever since I woke up two days ago, Enzo has not allowed me to even do anything, he was up and about for me and I couldn't be more thankful. I am even more thankful for the fact that his blood was all the remedy I needed, the fact that he saved me and gave me a new leash on life. MICHELLE’s POV. The scent of something yummy filters into my nostrils and I slowly open my eyes to see Enzo dropping a tray of breakfast on the bedside table. My face breaks into a smile as soon as I see him, he is my morning dose of happiness. He is dressed in a gray suit and his hair is pulled back in a neat bun, I genuinely can not take my eyes off of him.
