I sighed and dropped my head, clenching my fist while my nails dug into my palm in anger and dismay.

"He has been locked up, Alpha," Neil trudged into the room and announced.

I nodded and rubbed my forehead, glancing at Bianca who lay on the bed. Her body was as pale as snow and it all seemed like all blood and life had been sucked up from her body.

If they wanted revenge then they should have come for I and Lucian instead of hurting the people around us.

Perhaps, that was their best way of getting revenge.

My throat knotted at the thought of where Valerie could be. Ever since last night, none of us has been able to connect with her wolf. She must have intentionally cut off some of the bonds that existed between us.

This was all our fault, if only we had kept quiet concerning her father's death… if only…

"I tried my best, my lord," the doctor's voice snapped through my thoughts, causing me to jerk my head up.
