Calily
I never knew my surname. Orphaned at the age of 3, I never got to know my real parents. If there was anything I learnt the hard way, it would be that, ‘life is what you made of it’. I lived as a vulnerable kid while growing up. Moving from foster homes to foster homes, I was never settled.
But, I have my story.
They say, dead men tell no tales. But I, alive must speak cause this is a privilege since I’m still alive.
To begin, I have to start which makes it worthwhile.
Oh, holy mother of craps. Why am I being inspirational?
Party pooper Calily being inspirational? Damn.
I have been Serena’s best friend for 5 years. We met at a strip club at the night I went to harass one of my girl’s man for coming to a strip club. She bought me a drink when I was so heated.
Since then, we became close friends, went out together, discovered we had similar interests.
Then, you could guess all the way from that to now. Now, Serena was my A and I was her B. We are soul sisters who shared secrets, best buddies, long live us forever.
Whenever people saw us walking side by side on road, they’d begin to point fingers. Most knew Serena was a stripper. Not by circumstances but by choice. But I never minded.
She had always loved dancing since she was a little girl and when she had even told her mum about wanting to be a pole dancer she’d shoo it off, thinking she was only joking.
Serena’s got her CV. I got mine too yet we gat different dreams. Hers is to be a worldwide re-known dancer while mine has always been to famous interior designer. I’ve always had a thing for art since I was an eighth grader. However, that led to me working in an office. All white collar and crap.
But, let facts be fact. I loved the job because it was my dream job.
We were going to a party tonight. A wise man once said,
“You got only one life.”
I’m gonna so live it to the fullest. Serena had started dressing up why I just finished my body treatment. I was so used to this since I had a lighter skin. Serena had a tanned one which melodiously rhymed with her hair.
As I stepped out of the closet, I peeked through the corner of my eyes to see the cloth Serena settled for. It was a dress that was way out of league for a party.
“You’re not wearing that, are you?” I asked intensely startled.
The fact she wasn’t a stripper anymore didn’t mean she’d turn nun in less than 5 days.
“Sure, I am. What’s wrong with it?” She asked.
“Everything.” I said referring to the what she put on. It was a green gown which reached past her knee.
“It’s out of the box. Wait, let me get something thrilling.” I said leaving her to examine the dress more.
I thoroughly searched my closet for the black dress I had in mind. It was a piece that held to one’s body more. I actually loved it.
“Here.” I gave her.
“I’m not wearing that, Calily.” She defended.
“Yes, you are. Put that on, girl.” I said stubbornly.
“This dress is a mosquito net.” Serena defended, throwing the dress at me.
“Then put it on. Maybe you’ll catch something in it.” I savagely replied with a wink. Guess I rendered her speechless.
She knew better than to argue further with me.
“I’m driving.” I announced grabbing the keys to the Maserati. It was a present from her mum to her. Poor woman, that was the only way she could get Serena to take anything expensive from her.
“And get our asses stopped by the cops for your reckless driving. Just no.” She reminded.
“I was drunk that day.” I confessed.
“I got this, Serena. Just ride with me.” I said opening the car to the Maserati. Serena rarely drove this baby out. She claimed it would attract eyes at the strip club. She didn’t want anything to interfere with her life. This is why she took cabs.
We arrived quick to the party venue. It was a famous club where the elites threw parties. I being me, dragged her ass down here. She had even suggested we go to a beach. I replied back by saying that would be for another day. It was thrown by one of my college friends from the past.
“We’re so gonna get wasted.” I whispered in her ear. “Have I told you of how gorgeous you look this night?” I said again.
“Gee, thanks! Stick it up there that one of us has to drive the other home, though. We can’t both get wasted.” She retorted. I rolled my eyes.
“Let’s get some drinks.” I grab some vodka bottles as we settle on the bar seat.
“Wait, wait. Before we drink, we should get hydrated. Let me get some water.” Her words are like a scorpion’s sting. Serena really?
“Serena, hey Serena. Here, listen. I don’t want responsible Serena tonight. I want Stripper Serena. I want bad bitch Serena. The one I met slaying at the strip club. Who told me to dance of when I was heated that day. That’s the Serena I want tonight.” I think my words register into her head. She laughed it off.
“Was I being too hot to handle? Really?” She asked.
“Yeah.” I nodded my head in response.
“Then let’s get wasted.” She seethed, giving me a slap on my booty. The DJ saw that as the right moment to play an intense song. I started out with some moves with her. Then somehow, I got in the midst of strangers.
If anything, I was usually sassy and confident around males. Guess, I took it from my bloodline.
I grinded countless times as I took my vodka. I was an alcohol resistant, personally. I couldn’t get drunk, only if I took too much. Ever since I got accommodated by a pack, I had been so grateful. My life as a lone wolf had been so bad.
I mindlinked Alpha Marino.
I couldn’t let Serena ever get claimed by another male, knowing she was his mate. He was going to kill me if he ever found out. Right from when Serena came ranting about how a particular man harassed her at the club, I had sniffed her.
She smelled like Alpha Marino. I instantly knew she was his mate when she told me of her reaction to him screwing another lady.
I couldn’t tell her of the werewolf world. Yeah, we were so close. But, things were so different in the werewolf world. There were so many werewolf hunters, vampire and witches on loose.
What happened in the werewolf world, died in the werewolf world.

Serena EspositoIt was the funeral of a very important figure. Someone who meant the whole world to us all.Sasha.Everyone was clothed in black for the funeral. Luca held my hands and hugged me whenever I needed comfort. My baby girl, Blossom was in my mum's arms. She sat right beside me.I had named her Blossom because, somehow, in spite of the war, she was able to blossom her way out. I mean she survived. And, Luca had supported me on the conditions that he'll give her another name.Francesca and Francesco were beside each other too. So far, Francesca had changed. Francesco didn’t go out with his gangs anymore.Dad was beside them. He gave me a supportive look from time to time. King elf even attended the burial. He put a scarf ar
Serena EspositoThis wasn’t right.Nothing happening here was.How did Piero enter here with the boundary spell around?Francesca definitely entered because she was attached to my mum. But, Piero? Nothing sounded correct. It was all like puzzles. . . Missing puzzles that left me frightened.“H-How did he… “ I attempted to say, directing my fingers to the boundary.“Oh, cupcake. You don’t expect that to work on me. Do you? I’m Piero. I am so powerful with the bow of the gods if you have forgotten.” He seethed devilishly.A woman in the pack aimed to bring him down with a gun but we watched how he used the bow of gods on her. She fell to the floor, shakin
Luca MarinoBlood sheds, Killings and Violence. This was what was prevalent in the air. I could see from where I stood, how my men were being killed by these vicious beasts Piero created.“Alpha, their men have outnumbered ours. We can barely win from how things are going,” said Jacob. He was with low spirits and I didn’t blame him.“Where is King elf's men? Haven’t they arrived yet?” I asked immediately. I had to win this war at all costs.“No, Alpha.” He replied me.“Tell everyone to retreat into the Hall room. Let the witches create a boundary spell that won’t allow their entrance,” I ordered. On a normal day, a typical Lycan could take down vampires but the breed Piero created was

Serena Esposito I had held on to Sasha tightly. I still couldn’t believe I had lost her. I saw her last just last week. And, we had a drink together. She told me about her seer abilities and we laughed about it. It all didn’t make sense now. . .I fucking lost her.“Why??!” I screamed.I didn’t even know where to start from. Who to blame. What the cause of her death even was? A source said it was Piero…Why did he kill her? What did he achieve by doing so?These were the thoughts that surrounded my consciousness when Luca drew me up with his hands. I reluctantly got up from the floor where Sasha lay.
Francesca I curved my mouth into a broad smile. I just loved the fact that father and I were specially going to find out what the seer had said together. Over the past years, I had craved mother’s care. But, all that stopped when I realized my mum was dead and there was no way she could ever come back.In reality, it was father who had been with me all this while. Knowing this made me so loyal to dad. I could give my life to him.Right now, we had just appeared to Sasha’s bar, with the bow of the gods, power. I stood by his side, glancing at him. We walked by the bar entrance of the door and sighted a bouncer looking at us.“State your mission,” he said, staring at my da
