Chapter 20

(Marcus's POV)

The freedom I experience while riding a bike, no matter where I am or where I am going, is something special. On a cycle path, I never feel compelled to take the same path twice. I have the freedom to travel where my will leads.

I can travel whenever, wherever, and as swiftly as I like. My travels are entirely dependent upon me though but didn't have enough time to think about it, personally.

"Marcus, let's take a break please, I'm already exhausted," Cheska whined like a child. She likes working out in a gym but cannot handle cycling. What's wrong with her?

I sigh just as my momentum in nature and the beach was shattered by this woman who keeps following my shadow wherever I go.

"Then, you shouldn't come with us."

She whined like a brat again but I ignores her as I am focus on sightseeing the relaxing view of pine trees and the coastal beach.
