Getting ready, I look at my reflection in the mirror. The lady covers my head and sets the veil on my hair. 

"You're looking so beautiful," she praises me, holding my shoulders from behind. I smile at her as a response. She nods and suddenly the door of the room opens, earning our attention. As we both look in the direction, I find dad standing there. 

"Dad," I whisper, smiling at him. He genuinely smiles at me and walks towards me while I stand up to give him a hug. 

"You're looking so beautiful, Heer, just like your mother," he whispers, rubbing his palm on my back and I can tell, he is just about to cry. 

The lady smiles warmly at me before leaving us alone.
