Chapter 06

‘Monalisa why didn’t you follow your friends’ Rita asks immediately Lisa enters the house.

‘Didn’t feel like mom’ she answers and looks at her mom direction. Her eyes widen in surprise as she sees Mr. Wood checking her mom vitals and Mr. Ohmshford sitting on the couch.

‘Oh God’ she mumbles already getting irritated by his presence ‘Mr. Wood tell me ‘bout my mom health tomorrow byyee’ she says ignoring Mr. Ohmshford but the principal being who he is couldn’t just get ignored like that stood up to confront Monalisa.

‘Monalisa, what are you doing at home I thought I said you…’

‘Oh please old man’ Lisa interrupted glaring at him ‘you frustrate me in school and now my house. Please sir MIND YOUR BUSINESS!’  She shouted as she angrily climbed the staircase.

‘Oh my God’ Mr. Ohmshford mumbles while Rita watches the drama.

‘I think you should leave her alone for your safety Asher, she’s not like most teenagers, if you’re not careful you might actually end up dead’ Rita advises worried about Mr. Ohmshford.

‘Is that a joke or is it intended to be one’.

‘No… you know what, never mind, correct her till your heart content’ she replies thinking what would become of him in the next few days.

Monalisa opens the door to her room only to see Luca, Amanda, Kyra, Marco and two other men sitting on some bean bag at the corner of her room.

‘Boss’ they all greeted while standing up and bowing their head.

‘Seat’ she ordered as they all sat down ‘who tided the house?’

‘I think your mom tided the house because when we came back from school it looked normal’ Amanda replied.   

‘Kyra I hope you brought what I told you to bring’ Lisa asked dropping her bag on the bed.

‘Yes boss, I did’ Kyra replied standing up and opening a big black bag for Lisa to see its content. Monalisa walks towards the bag and checks its content.

‘Good, as you all know Mr. Joshua has a total of 10 buildings, one in California and the other nine in this city. He uses all this buildings for businesses, some legal and others illegal, he has a company which he often visit and from some internal sources I heard he’s going to the company with his family’ she sits down on her bed then continues ‘we are going to do the exact thing my father did to Rodrigo years ago except that man would not die’.

‘Oh my God boss, you never leave any one who challenges you alive so why now’ Luca asked flabbergasted.

‘I want to make his life hell on earth, Kyra’ she called ‘give them the files I asked you to bring’

‘Ok boss’ she replied as she took another black bag and opens it she removes the files from the bag and gives everyone a file

‘Read and follow what’s written on that file those are the roles you guys are to perform during the operation’.

‘Ok boss’ they all replied scanning through the document given to them.

AN HOUR LATER…

A White G Wagon stopped in front of a building which built with glass and Monalisa who was clad in white shirt and a black long skirt with a slit got out of the car and clad in a blue turquoise suit with blue suede heels. She carried a suitcase and walked with Amanda, Marco and Luca who carried two suitcases into the building while the car drove off. Once they entered the building luca, Marco and Amanda parted ways entering different parts of the company while Lisa went to the receptionist

‘Hello ma’am how I may help you’ the receptionist said with a genius smile showing a set of white teeth.

‘My name is Harley Norman and I have an appointment with Mr. Joshua’ she said smiling as she looked at the receptionist.

‘Uhmm ma’am please excuse me for a minute’ the receptionist responded as she checked the computer in front of her. Monalisa waited patiently looking around the building smiling normally.

‘Miss Harley take that elevator’ the woman said pointing to where the elevator was ‘and go to the 32^nd floor, turn right and you’ll see a woman, she’s his secretary, he is in his office so  she will lead you to him’.

‘Ok thank you’ Lisa appreciated smiling as she walked towards the elevator and entered it, she followed the receptionist instructions and met a robust woman sitting on a desk typing and she assumed that was the wretched man’s secretary. she approached the woman and spoke:

‘Hi, I have an appointment with Mr. Joshua’ Lisa says looking at the woman, the woman pulls her glasses down which Lisa thought was rather too small for her large face. The woman scanned Monalisa for some seconds before answering her.

‘Mr. Joshua is currently not in his office, I suggest you come back tomorrow’ the woman replied rudely continuing what she was doing.

‘But the receptionist told me he’s in his office…madam’ Monalisa replied getting pissed off. The woman was doing what she hated the most which was lying.

‘That damn receptionist’ the woman mumbled quietly but Lisa heard what she said clearly ‘like I said miss he is not in his office’

‘Ha geez I hate liars’ Lisa stated as she dropped the suitcase on the floor and brought out a silent pistol from her waist and shot the woman five times on the head before returning the gun back to her waist. She looks at the lifeless woman and shook her head as she takes her suitcase. She opens the door to the man office and her eyes widen at the scene.

‘Such a man whore’ she thought she looked at him kissing a lady and removing her cloths. Lisa cleared her throat alerting the lady and Mr. Joshua of her presence. The lady frantically wore her cloth while the man face turned white as if he saw a ghost

‘You…you… how come you’re alive, the men told me they killed you’ the robust man says in distress as he falls on a nearby seat.  The lady looks at both of them confused about the situation.

‘Ah, you are such a funny and predictable man’ she says dropping the suitcase and walking to and fro ‘did you think you can kill me easily besides all your men are dead and the one you talked to is one of my men’

‘You this…’

Monalisa interrupted him by removing the gun tucked in her trouser and shots the girl in the room and the girl drops dead.

‘Don’t blame me, she knows too much already’ she says looks at his surprised expression, she walks toward the window and sees a car pull over and a woman and a girl in her early twenties walk into the building.

‘Great! , your wife and child are here’ she says smiling devilishly. She turns back and points the gun on his head ‘Don’t you dare pick up that gun’. She says as the man sits back and she walks toward where the gun is and picks it and throws it out the window

‘What are you planning to do to me’ the man asks terrified as he shrinks on his seat

‘Oh, you’ll know soon enough’ he responded laughing evilly

‘Boss it’s all set’ luca said through the earpod

‘Ok’ Lisa said ‘stand up and move’ She said to the man who stood up fearfully.

‘Now, smile’ she said moving to him and pointing the gun to his back and he smiles as they go out of his office as they reached outside, he stops and gasps as he sees the dead body of his secretary but Lisa urges him to move by pushing him with the gun. They enter the elevator and goes to the parking lot.

‘Boss’ marco called running toward her.

‘What the hell are you planning to do with me’ Mr. Joshua shouts frantically as Lisa looks at him in disgust.

‘Oh please marco shut him up’ Lisa demands as Marco uses the butt of his gun to hit him on the head which makes him to black out.
