Roseanne walked into the church looking like a diva in her wedding gown with her father by her side, Soberth sure did a good job using makeup to cover her face that has few bruises. She was instructed by 𝐌𝐫 Kent to do the makeup.

Her black hair rolled and packed up in a bridal style, and her wedding gown sticking perfectly to her body.

Her heart keeps pounding loudly in her chest as she walks side by side with her father who keeps faking a smile at her, walking into the hall she noticed Twas only Her, Angie, Soberth ,𝐌𝐫 Kent, the priest with Gregory and Andrew.

“it’s better this way, it’s a loveless wedding and getting a lot of people won’t be okay” she thought as she kept a fake smile on her face as instructed by her father. She tried so hard not to wince from the pain she was feeling from her tummy.

She looked up to meet the staring eyes of her soon to be husband on her, his lips curved into a smile which made Roseanne roll her eyes unintentionally, but she covered it up with a smile.

Her father gave her hands to Gerald’s and bowed slightly before walking away while holding his arm with his other hand.

Roseanne looked up with a shaky breath as she moved closer to Gerald who keeps staring at her coldly with a smirk on his lips. His dark eyes staring at her as if trying to bring her soul out.

“Wrap this up “Gerald said to the priest who was clearly shaking from the inside.

“Do you Gerald Grey take Roseanne Kent to be your bride, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer…”

Gerald scoffed and glared at the priest who kept shut “skip the fucking for poorer cause i can’t fucking go broke”

“I do” Gerald as he looked at Roseanne who was looking at everywhere except him. He scoffed as he moved his hand to raise her chin up which made her hold her breath and look up.

“What does he want from me? Can’t a poor girl look away in peace?” Roseanne thought as she tried to look away but his grip on her wouldn’t allow that.

He moved closer to her and whispered in her ear which made her remain glued to the spot and her eyes fixed on him as she stared at him with feat written all over her eyes as tears threatened to roll down her eyes, but she didn’t let that happen

Gerald withdrew his hand as he watched her look up at him with fear written all over her eyes, his lips curved up in a smirk as he enjoyed everything a bit of fear, he could feel coming from her.

He raised his brow at the shivering priest to signal him to continue with the vow.

The priest cleared his throat as he used his palm to clean the beads of sweats rolling down his forehead.

Roseanne stood still as her world came crashing into her, her dream of getting married to a perfect gentleman is down the drain. She stared at the man in her front, and she understood perfectly that he’s her doom and she’s sure going to die in his hands.

“Roseanne snaps out of this, you’re fucking getting married to someone who doesn’t care about his former wives and have them killed and all you can think about right now is your dream. Your dream is long gone, once you say yes right now there’s no going back. You’re going there to die and that’s all” she thought to herself as she sighs.

“Why’s that bitch taking long to answer?” Angie said impatiently on her seat.

“Don’t tell me she wants to change her mind” Soberth muttered

“Roseanne!!!” Mr. Kent shouted angrily as he stood up as if they had all been waiting for her answer for the past few minutes.

“Shut your loose mouth or should I show you how to?” Gerald said as his dark eyes landed on 𝐌𝐫 Kent as his brow lift in anger.

“Am sure you don’t want to keep me waiting for too long wifey since you know what am capable of doing”

Gerald said in a thick dangerous tone his brows creased in anger.

“Yes, I do “Roseanne tiny voice speaks up, her voice low as though she might faint if she speaks louder.

Roseanne stood frozen in a spot as realization hit her there’s no going back and her life stops being hers from now henceforth since she’s gonna die in his hands soon and she doesn’t know how long she’ll last before dying.

A little tear dropped from her eyes as she sighed lightly but loud enough for Gerald to hear, he smirked as he moved close to her then raised his thumb to clear her tears and licked it.

“Hmm … tasty” he moaned softly.

“I’ll have fun enjoying this as my daily dose always wifey” he said as he placed his thumb back in his mouth.

The priest cleared his throat shakily.

“I hereby pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss your…”

“Skip” Gerald said as he glared at the priest who rushed away hurriedly after bowing slightly since his job was done.

Roseanne heaved a sigh of relief since she doesn’t want to kiss the man in her front, but she sighed again knowing she won’t be able to escape that for too long.

“Time to go” he said as he started walking while Andrew signaled her to follow him.

Roseanne started walking off but not staring at her family who care less about her since Soberth was already busy with her phone.

She stopped walking when she saw Angie’s mouth moving and she stopped seeing her mouthing

“Can’t wait to see you dead” with an Evil smile on her face.

Roseanne stood rooted in her spot, but she was tapped by Andrew.

“I’m sure you don’t want to walk home in your wedding dress” Andrew said as he raised his phone to show her the text his boss sent and started walking outside.

“Two cold bastards” she muttered lowly, sighed and grabbed her wedding dress and started walking hurriedly behind Andrew. She felt pain in her tummy as she kept walking, but she won’t dare stop walking like he said.

Andrew stopped in front of a Tesla Cybertruck and I couldn’t stop myself from admiring the beauty of the car but I couldn’t admire much cause I had to rush inside before Gerald snapped my neck off my head.

“I thought you’ll like to walk home” he Said with his eyes fixed on his phone.

“The sound of home creeps out but guess that’s my new home” Roseanne thought as she kept fiddling with her hand.

She remembered what he whispered to her ear in the church, and she couldn’t stop herself from speaking.

“Were you really going to ask your men to kill my friend if I didn’t look at you? “

“Do I look like I joke?” He said as his lip curved up into a smirk which almost made Roseanne scoff.

“And how did you know about her?” Roseanne said but smack her head almost immediately since that’s a very stupid question to ask, Gerald has power all over Italy and knowing Riley is the smallest of the thing he can do.

“Ohh Roseanne, that’s a very dumb question to ask, you’ve made me talk more than usual today and you kinda deserve a punishment for that” Gerald said as he rests his head on the seat rest.

“Pu...pu..ni..shment?” Roseanne stuttered as she felt her palms becoming sweaty as her breath seized and her heart beating fast as she couldn’t form more words.

“Hmmm” Gerald nodded with his eyes remained closed.

“Is he going to kill me now? I thought I was ready to die, why am I getting scared now? Oh He still looks dangerous with his eyes closed. ohh no!! I don’t want to die now” Roseanne thought as her heart keeps beating in fear as she rubs her palm together, she almost peed on her dress as her legs keeps shaking at the fear of dying.

“Please don’t kill me” Roseanne clasps her hands together as tear’s threatened to roll down her eyes.

Gerald chuckled darkly as his eyes remained closed without moving from his seat.

Seeing that he didn’t give her attention, she removed her heel from her leg and sat well in the car with her hand on her tummy she focused on the window as she stares at the outside world as tears roll down her eyes, as her heart keeps pounding in fear.

“I’ll do anything to avoid dying” she mumbled lowly as tears roll down her eyes spoiling her make up and her mascara formed a line with her tears.

She felt Gerald moved from his seat as he stared at her dangerously, he raised his hand to touch her, but she flinched in fear which made him grin.

“You’re married to me, so you’ll do as I say anyways, death is not an option for you now cause like I said I’ll do anything to get a taste of your tears always” he said as he grinned evilly as he settled back on his seat.

A figure walked into the dark room and knelt down in front of a masked man who’s seated on his highchair.

“He got married today at the church but i couldn’t get a clear view of the wife since his mob members were all spotted guarding different corners of the church secretly boss.” The man said as his eyes remained fixed on the floor.

“He’s trying to play smart this time, lay low for a while till we get a proper view of the wife” The masked figure said as the man bowed and walked away hurriedly.

“Trying to protect this one? Game on Gerald” the masked voice said and laughed out evily.
