Chapter Six: Consequence Of The Plan.

EMILY'S POV

I was still very sore from the pain that the bastard inflicted on me. He was hard on me. I wonder how hard he went.

He is a monster. Both his looks and those things between his legs… I was so upset. Even though I had washed my body and I was wearing different clothes I bought them in a boutique on my way home.

I still felt like he was all over my skin. Well, no one in the pack must even smell what happened so as I neared the house, I straightened myself up and began to walk very well, like nothing had happened.

The closer I got, the clearer the door into our house was. I saw my Mother and Father standing outside. They were talking to the police. Father was holding what looked like a picture.

'They must be looking for you' I heard Sheera, my wolf say.

'No, they are not.' I thought, then it hit me.

Yesterday I ran off like a madwoman in my long white wedding gown dress.

'Oh, they must be worried.' I began to walk faster, increasing my pace. Soon I was running. And I was waving my hand and yelling

“Father, mother, father, mother” The two old people looked my way along with the police.

Immediately they saw me. They rushed and hugged me. Both of them.

“My Emily, where have you been? Oh my Emily” Mother was crying already..

Father held me tighter, he was not crying. He was thanking the moon goddess. The way they held me was so hard, it hurt my already painful body.

Thankfully the hug ended soon and they led me inside. I knew they wanted to know everything. Well, mother took me in first while father dismissed the police.

She took me straight to my bed. I sat down there, and she hugged me again, holding me close to her heart.

“My dear Emily,” her voice was shaky. She wanted to sob again.

“Mother, I am fine at least I am here now. You do not need to cry,” I tried to console her and stop my tears.

“You have been through so much. I heard that your best friend cheated on you. I heard that you ran away out of anger. How could they treat you like this? You have endured a lot.” She was speaking amidst tears now.

“Mother, it is a good thing it happens that way, at least we now know the kind of person they are. Now I will not marry that jerk and suffer the rest of my life.” I held her tightly, my tears were gone now and I was speaking strongly.

Yes, I would never let everything that happened bring me down. I would fight, and be strong. I was not raised to be a weakling.

After our reunion, everything went back to normal. Ethan's father did not allow him to marry that whore so he remained single, but I later heard he ran away with her, not that I cared anyways.

For the stranger, I never saw or heard about him again and I cared less too. I'm enjoying my newfound life outside the chaos they both gave me.

Then many days passed and soon it became a month and I began to notice something odd. It started with fatigue. I never had energy. Then I started to feel sleepy often.

I ignored them all, thinking it was irrelevant but in the second month, I began to have morning sickness and that's when I knew something was wrong.

Secretly, I went to the pack physician. He lived a few houses from mine and it was a Saturday. Both my parents were away.

He was an elderly man and he had been a great friend to me throughout my childhood. His door was open when I came in. I did not want to go to his clinic. That was why I chose the house.

“Mr Seth, are you around? Mr Seth!”I was slightly out of breath from walking a little.

“Yes, who is it?” I heard the old man's voice.

“It is Emily, sir. I spoke loudly.

“Emmy dear, to what did I owe you this visit?” The old man came out from inside the house. He was wearing a bright smile on his face.

“It's been a while. Is there a problem?” He asked.

“Well sir,” he showed me a seat and I sat down. He sat too.

“I have been feeling a lot of fatigue lately. And I sleep a lot. And then there's the morning sickness.” I said nervously. Worry spread across my face.

He looked at me calmly and did not say a word until I was done talking.

“That is everything,” I said finally, a little tense because he was not talking.

“Mhmm,” Mr Seth stroked his white beard.

“I will have to run a test. A simple test. It will just take a few minutes but it will give us the answer we are looking for,” his voice was light and he was smiling again.

I smiled back. His tempo was giving me a warmness that assured me nothing bad had happened. I was very tense when I arrived but now I feel so light.

Mr Seth excused himself and went inside the house. He returned later and gave me some test tubes. I collected the samples he asked for and then stayed in the living room, awaiting the result.

I arrived there at noon but it was getting dark slowly and the results had not come. I was getting restless.

I wanted to call him to hasten up but I restrained myself. Eventually, I decided to talk.

“Mr. Se.. “ before I could finish, he appeared inside the house like he had done when I came in.

But he was no longer smiling so broadly. He had a calm look but it was full of worry.

Shivers ran through me. I prayed silently to the moon goddess for it to be a different story from what I suspected but the moon goddess forsake me like the day of my wedding.

Mr Seth came, sat next to me, and looked me straight in the eyes.

“I never thought you would be such a girl and I still refuse to believe so. Please Emily give me a good reason why because the test says you are two months pregnant.”

I gasped covering my mouth.

“Oh no.”
