Chapter Five: My Little Secret.

EMILY'S POV

I smiled in my dream as I felt a sweet smell wafted through my nose and I wondered who was making those delicious pastries this early in the morning.

I stretched lazily on the bed but my body ached badly as I did. I wondered why.

My eyes opened gently, almost blinded by the brightness of the room. I closed them gently once more.

I opened them again but a banging headache set in. I noticed the room I was in was not my room.

I looked around the room and fear set in as I saw the bed I was in. A soft girly bed and I became worried.

"It can't possibly be what I am thinking, right? There is no way things like that happen?" I say with a hopeful voice as I raise the duvet and my eyes widen in shock seeing that I am naked.

"Ahh!" I yelled, not believing it. I was so frustrated wondering what happened to me.

I tried to access my memories and I remember how the car I was in bashed the strange man's car, how I invited him on a date but my brain went fuzzy when I started drinking the wine…the wine was the problem.

" I bet it is just that I vomited on my clothes and they were changed only!" I am trying to be optimistic but the feeling between my legs is saying otherwise.

"Ahhh! I am doomed! Something is wrong with me?" I yelled, but I sensed something unusual within me and I grew awfully quiet.

My wolf! I screamed in my head. I could not believe that I could feel it without changing first and that was supposed to be last night.

"Sheera! Is that you?" I asked because that was the name I decided to give my wolf and I heard her purring.

'That is not the only thing that happened so take it easy.' Sheera purred and I wondered what she was saying.

My wolf's first words to me were strange so I decided to ask a question.

"What? You think something more terrible could happen to me after sleeping with a stranger and losing…my chastity?" My eyes went to the stained duvet and I hissed in disgust.

My eyes welled up in tears because I knew it was all because of my foolish acts of trying to get revenge on Ethan when I could have completely ignored him.

'You are going to find out later.' She says.

I tried to recollect my memories wondering what could be wrong and how I landed myself on the bed with a stranger but I found it hard as I felt a banging headache.

I hissed in frustration knowing what might be the consequences of getting myself drunk the other night and I decided to get out of bed. I felt sore down there and I wondered how rough the man was with me.

'Bastard!' I cursed but I felt something strange in my body.

Sheera shut herself out after her words to me but I noticed she was making a slight movement trying to communicate with me but I was too occupied to care.

I walked into the bathroom to clean up because I knew I had to go back to the pack house.

My feet were all shaky as I walked towards the bathroom and I cursed at the handsome demon that made me this way and abandoned me but I knew it would have been more awkward to wake up next to him.

I shrieked when the cold water hit my skin and I looked at my body that was full of love bites by the man and I hissed in disgust.

I felt a stinging pain in my neck and I wondered what it was so I decided to check it out in the mirror to find that it was a mark…a mate mark!

"What? What is this?" I yelled looking at the mark. I was beyond surprised to find it there.

Moon goddess! What is this? Did I just get mated to a man while drunk?' I thought and I slumped on the floor not believing it and I wondered what other bad luck could befall me in just a day.

I might be a misfortune.

"What am I going to do? How am I going to hide this?" My voice got shaky as tears streamed down my face because the emotions were so overwhelming.

If I knew my silly plan to get back at Ethan with a stranger was going to get me into trouble, I would not have attempted it at all.

"Now, because of my stupidity I got mated to someone that I didn't even know his name," I screamed. I tried to not let my voice get loud so I wouldn't get the attention of anyone nearby.

Good riddance! What am I going to do now?

'He is our mate, Emily, we have to find him,' Sheera whispered and I scoffed at what she just said.

How am I going to find someone I don't know anything about? How am I to find someone who abandoned me after placing his mark on me?

My life is a mess!

My tears mixed with the water as I walked into the room because at that time that was my safe space.

I have disgraced myself and also humiliated my whole pack.

I didn't get married to the person they betrothed me to. I went ahead to sleep with another man and also got marked by him.

"What? He is handsome? That demon ruined me!" I yelled, and after some time. I stood up from the ground with a resolution.

'If I don't tell anyone, no one is going to know..it's going to be my little secret.’

I dressed up and walked out of the guest room, shaky trying to bury my secrets in the room and I hoped the secrets were never going to come to light...

Inside that room, I lost my chastity to a stranger…while drunk.

I thought walking away from it was going to get me off it…only if I knew.
