When Mark said home was a safe house. I thought he meant his apartment in Manhattan.
I thought we would go to the hotel where we were staying, we would take the helicopter and in five hours we would be in home.
But apparently when he said home, he meant his old home, here in Burbank where we had met.
“I can't believe it, Mark.” I said looking around the living room from his old apartment “What are we doing here?”
“Alex suggested that we had to have a standby place and leave it unknown.”
I turned to look at him, but he looked away quickly.
“Shall we?” He started to pull me towards his old room, but I stopped us.
“I'm not going in there.” I stubbornly crossing my arms.
