Well, the store was not that far from my place. It wasn’t that close also. It was half an hour far from the mansion. It took fifteen to twenty minutes on the bus ride and more than ten minutes by walking to reach the mansion. I checked the time; I was very late. It was around eight at night. My heart throbbed harder. There were no signs of getting the bus. I never thought I ending up like that on the streets of Burbank.

I was looking for the bus but had hard luck. Rarely any bus was coming. I would have been very late if I had chosen to wait there.

So, I decided to walk. Also, it was a starry night, I wanted to walk beneath the millionth stars or even more than that. I pecked a glance at my wristwatch, it was already half past eight.
