It was so hard to leave our home and come back here, I have said I want to hang out alone for this Christmas and spend some time rationalizing my thoughts staying in a hotel room.

Well it wasn’t all lie, I did rationalizing my thoughts and decided what my heart said. And I cherished every bit of it.

“welcome home”, chimed Jackson coming towards the door and hugged me.

I chuckled heart fully as I hugged him back and said “I smell happiness”.

“you do?”, he asks smirking to which I nod my head as yes and find maya sitting on the couch with a bowl full of strawberries and smile at me brightly answering my unspoken question with a nod.

“Of course and I could see you are on your way to be a good boyfriend and a dad”, I tell patting his shoulder proudly.
