Ethan’s voice called out.

I turned without hesitation.

My breathing ragged and my eyes clouded with tears which trailed down my face.

A wide smile beamed on my lips the moment my eyes landed on his beautiful face.

“Ethan,” I said softly, looking at the beautiful weak green eyes staring directly at my stormy blue ones.

I never realized how much I feared never seeing those eyes again, not until they shut close for hours that felt like years.

His fingers which held mine tightened, but I could feel it took all his strength to do it.

He watched me calmly, but I could see the stressed lines on his head which he held in pain.

“Please, stay Leah.

Don’t leave me,” he muttered weakly.

My lips burst into a wide smile.

My other hand trembled as they moved to cover his.

I sat beside him not caring about the world watching us.

My fingers trailed his face gently, moving towards the hair which fell on his head back, and I pushed them back softly.
