Chapter 2

AMORE and Liam have arrived in a relatively distant place, here is the secret tunnel. No one knew about it except his doctor friend Dindo.

She immediately went to someone she knew.

"Mang Isko, where are you?" She called to his acquaintance.

"Omg, are you here ma'am? It's good that you came to visit me," he replied to her. He hurried out when he heard her calling outside his house.

"I just didn't get a visit here. I need your help. Where is the car I hid from you?"

“Ah. I already know what you mean. It's in the back of the house, I always lubricated it well, let's go to the back of the house," he said then went to the back immediately.

"All right, let's hurry up because they might follow us here."

"Why, who's after you? Why?"

"Regor is chasing us."

"Huh? How? Isn't him your boss?"

"Yes, before but now He's not. He has many sins against me and he has added to them now," was her angry response.

"Hey, by the way, who is that handsome man with you?" The old man asked curiously while smiling.

"Ah. Don't bother to ask, go ahead. Drive us to the shore. We need to escape right now," she said angrily to the old man. She wasn't angry with it but she was in a hurry to get away so that's how she answered. The old man will understand that. She was blabbering on like crazy.

"All right Ma'am," was his immediate reply then took the car to the back. It drove them quickly.

They quickly reached the shore. They immediately looked for her friend, name Karding. He is also a friend of Isko.

"Karding? Where are you? Amore needs his yacht. Karding quickly opens the door of your house," Isko called to his friend.

"Oh, wait," it replied from inside the house.

"Where is my yacht Mang Karding," Amore immediately asked.

"Ah. It's you, ma'am. It's near the shore. Don't worry it's okay and there's still enough gas. There's also extra there in case you run out. The interior is also clean. Why do you need it?? You haven't used it for a long time, have you?" he curiously asks.

"Ah. My friend and I are going somewhere important," Amore replied then pointed to Liam who was just standing on the side of the car.

"All right. Go away Ma'am," Isko said.

“Here. I hope this money will be enough, I hope it will help you," said Amore then handed over the envelope with ten thousand pesos each.

The two elders accepted it.

"We're leaving, Isko and Karding, be careful and thank you very much if you need anything just call me. Or, if someone asks about us. Please don't tell anyone that we have been here before. Mang Isko, it's up to you to explain to Mang Karding. Bye," she said goodbye to the elders and they left immediately with Liam.

"Be careful," postscript language of the two elders to them. They don’t know if they’ve heard of it. They saw Amore wave before they left on the yacht.

Liam immediately launched the yacht. It still hasn't spoken since earlier. Maybe he doesn't feel like talking, especially since he's still shocked by what happened or maybe he hasn't felt okay since he was dizzy.

They quickly crossed the ocean.

They have reached the other island and it is getting late. Liam decided first to stop sailing and here first spent a night. It is not safe to sail every night, especially since the two of them are on a yacht. The waves are strong and it is not safe to sail further.

He went down and tied the rope to the big tree near the shore. Amore's presence was also alarmed as they stopped.

"What happened to the yacht? Was it damaged?"

"No. It's not safe for us to sail yet because it's late. We don't know where to go. And it might be dangerous, we will not die from the bullet of Regor's gun but from drowning," he joked in answer to Amore's question.

"Oh go ahead. Let's rest first. And tomorrow when we get to the other town you can leave."

"Ah. All right. But just then, aren't you hungry?"

"No"

She said no but her stomach was making a loud noise, an indication that she was really hungry.

"Just wait for a minute, I'll come back with fish. We need to eat so we have enough energy."

"Okay. All right. I'll just pick up some dry wood and burn it too."

"Okay."

Liam went to the sea and Amore picked up some dry wood from the nearby forest. She got a lot of wood and brought it to the beach. She lit a fire, fortunately, and she learned something when she was still a girls scout. Sometimes being a girls scout helps a lot in terms of survival.

Liam was already there with some fish. It even caught some beautiful fish.

"Here, I've cleaned those. It's ready to grill."

"Sure, I'll be the one to grill. Hmm, wait. I'll just check inside the yacht first to see if there's any salt left. 3 months ago, I also sailed and I brought salt because I am fun of fishing. Even if I only bring salt, it's okay, it's just for grilling, it's like I can taste something somehow."

"Okay"

Amore hurried to her bowl of salt. There was more left so it quickly went down and salted the fish. Even if the only salt is the only ingredient in the roast, it's better because you can taste something better than nothing, right?

"Wow. Great. It's already cooked. You go first. I'm next. The next one will soon be cooked," Liam said then handed Amore the previous one.

"Thanks, Liam, You know my life is very trill. Even this is the life I chose. I'm still proud of myself because I can survive for how many times this situation. It used to be even worse, I hid anywhere just to be able to lie low from the enemies. I think I am like a cat. There are 9 lives," it joked.

"Ha ha ha." Liam laughed at the last thing she said. "Really? Why did you join Regor's group? You know they can't be trusted and most of all they kill when you betray. He even killed me too," he said seriously.

"I have a deep reason. I won't tell you first. Umm. You, why is he killing you? What is your fault with your brother?" She asked curiously.

"I don't know about him. Maybe it was money and power that made him do that. Maybe he wanted to take everything from my real Dad bequeathed to me. I'm just his half-brother. My mother and I are the same and our father is different that's why we have different last names."

“Hmm, he's really bad. If I used to be submissive to everything he wanted. Now, I'm going to drop his tentacles one by one. Especially since I know all of them and I know all of his illegal business. He will see the sweetness of my revenge!" She said then gave a killer smile but she was still cute to look at.

"Wow! Then you're going to take revenge? But how? You're alone, aren't you? Let me help you," he said.

"I'm not alone. I also have a lot of hands and feet that they don't know. I also have a lot of girl assassins. They work for me secretly, they are my eyes and ears. But they don't know everything about my personality. I kept it secret so that the enemy could not use it against me."

"Is that so? You're serious. Girl power is your team. How exciting."

The road we are on is dangerous so tomorrow when we come to the other town, you can leave and hide. You are not safe when you come with me to Sulo. "All right. Here's more, more grilled fish. Eat more...the things that you said are not yet registered to my mind and until now I still can't stop thinking that my older brother can do all the evil just to get the power he hopes for, money, and everything he wants in exchange for doing evil."

"Thanks. It should be a relief I also don't want anyone else to be affected by my plans."

"Why Am? What's your reason? You know you can forget revenge and live a normal life, right?"

“Don’t call me Am,” she insisted mentioning Am. "Only one person is capable of calling me that."

"Who? Your boyfriend"?

"No. My only friend, Lysander. We're friends since we were young. He's the one who used to play and sympathize with me whenever I'm hurt. He's my only friend and protector whenever someone fights with me but one day, they left for the States, after which he never returned. I was annoyed with him because he promised he wouldn't leave me and when I grew up he said he would marry me when I didn't have a boyfriend. Hmm. Isn't it annoying? I relied on his promise. I'm  already 25, but I haven't seen his shadow yet."

"Sorry. How about me? You can be my friend. I'll be there for you if you want to see me, and then I'll be there 24/7, I'll help you. Even if I'm not Lysander, that's why protect you against your enemies I promise that. It's just that I can't be your husband one day because I didn't promise you then, and I'm not Lysander," Liam joked to her.

"Hey. Don't joke like that. You're leaving tomorrow. So stop it. You should be stuck by. It's okay for me to have no sympathy. I've endured that for 18 years so I'm okay."

"All right, it's up to you. Don't you know anyone who can ask about Lysander? Be his parents?"

"Nothing. They never returned to the Philippines, and my news was 15 years ago, his parents had an accident. I don’t know if he was involved in the accident. But I hope not. I'm still waiting for him to come back one day and keep his promises to me."

"Oh, why do women you love to believe in promises? You know of the millions of promises, only one of them is fulfilled once it's mandatory. So don't rely on vague things anymore."

"Tse. What do you know? I am hoping that someday our paths will meet again."

"Okay. By the way. It's late at night. We're going to sleep. It's better to take a little nap."

"All right. The fire is about to die and the air is getting cold. Okay, let's get inside."

They have entered the yacht.

The yacht is well made. Fully equipped with a dedicated room and mini library.

Amore's Daddy made it happen when he made her debut. This was her Dad's gift to her. So she considers it a huge remembrance from his father.

Because they love to sail and sometimes she falls asleep so they made it room so that she can sleep anytime. She also likes to read novels so she was also made a mini library and sometimes she sleeps inside so there is a folding bed placed there. That's how his Daddy loved her when he was still alive.

"Liam is the room I'm going to sleep in. How about you? Where do you want? You can be there on the other side I have a mini library there and there's a folding bed there, you can sleep there because it's cold here on the couch. It'll be windy."

"Don't worry. I'm just here. I'm fine."

"All right, it's up to you," she said then entered his room.

LIAM woke up because of the sunshine right on his face. That's why he went to check on Amore where she was sleeping.

"Good morning! Are you awake? All right, I'll just take a moment to untie the rope so we can get out of here."

"Good morning too. All right. I'm arranging the things I'm going to take to my uncle's island in Sulo."

They sailed again until they reached the island. They are already at the pier.

Amore left his yacht with an acquaintance of her. She knows a lot of people everywhere she goes so she also has a lot of trustees.

"All right. We'll only be together up to here. Here are 10,000 pesos, I hope I can help with your fare. I'm leaving," she said then handed Liam the white envelope containing the money. It was not a bribe but help.

"Wait, Is it true that you won't take me? I don't want to leave, when I leave Regor will catch me so I'll come with you."

"Don't. You'll be left behind and maybe what else will my uncle say when he sees you there. It's like Mike Inrequez because he's a very investigator person so here you are. I have already done my part in helping you. I hope that would have been good enough if it had been done for you."

Amore immediately turned and walked down a narrow road. She never looked at the man again. It also hurts her to leave it at the pier but this is a good solution. She didn't want to be affected by his revenge anymore. If then she felt sorry for the man's face, she wouldn't want to see Regor hurt him again. She didn't know him very well but she seemed close to the young man.

She is currently crossing the small road to the shore where she can take a boat to his uncle's house on a nearby island.

As she was walking she noticed someone following her so she quickly hid in a tree to catch who was following her. She prepared her small knife.

"Who are you?" She shouted at the man as the knife pointed to it. "What? you?" She was suddenly surprised to see that it was just Liam. He followed her.

"Yes I am, I'm sorry I followed you Am. I can't go somewhere. I'm scared! So please take me with you Am. You know I just saw you as a sage, go ahead please take me with you," he said like a kid begging.

"Gad! Are you crazy? You look like a child Liam. What alibi can I say to my uncle to make him believe me that nothing happened to me in Manila if you come with me to the island, huh?"

"Everything. Like I'm your friend"

"No. That won't work, unless you pretend to be my husband," Amore sighed to the man.

"What!" His eyes suddenly widened at what he heard.

Liam was shocked by what he heard but he could do nothing if this was the best solution for him to be with Amore.

When Amore said that, she immediately turned around and continued walking.

Liam followed. He suppressed it so he would suffer.

He can try what he is hiding from acting when needed.
