FOUR MONTHS LATER.

Olivia silently walked into Ruby’s room and after glancing around, her eyes couldn’t find her anywhere. She walked into the bathroom and there she was in her usual over-sized hoodie with tears staining her face as she sat in a corner looking into nothingness.

“Oh Ruby.” She quickly moved close to her and wrapped her in a hug.

Ruby’s hands laid limp by her side as she just sobbed.

“You have to stop this, Ruby. It’s not good for the baby. We have to tell them before they find out on their own. You are getting bigger.” Olivia told her gently.

She helped her up and led her to her bed on which she sat down.

“Ruby, I can help you approach dad and make sure he doesn’t flip when he knows about this.” Olivia reasoned.

“No. I’ve made up my mind, I’m going to abort it.” She said making Olivia’s eyes go wide.

The door opened and they both jumped. Michelle walked in with the usual sway in her hips, just like her mother.
