The silence that followed Liam's roar was deafening. Even the critters of the forest go quiet at his voice.

But I refuse to- not this time.

"You can roar and run mad all you want! I am tired! I am tired of this; of you! You disgust me, you sicken me, you make me hate like I've never hated before. My parents! I watched my parents be devoured by your kind! I watched their own pack wolves tear them to pieces! And now look...I'm stuck here- with a good for nothing alpha like yourself! Kill me or let me go, Liam. I want nothing to do with you."

Tears stream down my face steadily and when I'm done uttering these words, my entire body is shaking.

Every single hurt is coming back to me and I cannot understand what to do. What was my fault in all this?

Yes, I am an omega, and yes a rogue too. But did I deserve the torture that Silver Moon has subjected me to?

Was it necessary?

Liam is looking at me intensely; he's not speaking but I can see his fingers twitch.

Gwen POV Selene's words echoed in my mind like a tempest. The name she had uttered lingered on my mind like a lullaby, a persistent shadow refusing to let me be. I never expected to hear it again. For so long, I believed that Ronan was the one planning everything. Then I thought it was Selene. But now? Now I understood the reality. They were merely pawns in the game. The true enemy? They were still out there, and if Selene was correct, they had been biding their time for the perfect opportunity to strike like what the furk.I faced her, my grip on my blade tightening. "Where are they?"She laughed softly, shaking her head. "Oh, Gwen. You really think I'd just share that with you?"I pressed the dagger against her throat, but she didn't even flinch nor move."You're too late," she murmured. "They're already on the move."A wave of fear washed over me. This wasn't merely a warning. It was a declaration of war.I dragged Selene back to camp, my thoughts racing like bolt. If she spoke th

  • MATED FOR ONLY A BABY   JUDGEMENT DAY

Gwen POVThe morning was filled with unease. The whole camp was up, gathered around the central fire where the chained prisoners Ronan, Selene, and Tina knelt down awaiting judgment. The previous night had dragged on with critical discussions and restless thoughts. Now, the moment had arrived to determine their fate at ones.Liam stood next to me, arms crossed and expression blank and void. Xander and Alven guilded me, weapons at the ready. The Bloodfang warriors circled the prisoners, their faces displaying a mix of anger and eager anticipation. Everyone had their opinions on what should happen next to them. But ultimately, the choice was mine.Taking a deep breath, I stepped forward. It was time for action.I locked eyes with Ronan first, and his usual arrogance had vanished, replaced by a cold calculation. Even in chains, he remained a threat, like a furking threat."You murdered our people," I said, voice steady. "You tortured us, burned our homes, destroyed families." I moved clos

  • MATED FOR ONLY A BABY   INTERROGATION

Gwen POVStanding before me, in chains, knelt Ronan, Tina, and Selene captured, defeated, and entirely at my mercy,it really feels so good. The blazing firelight revealed their bruises and battered body, dripping away the aura of untouchable rulers they once had. They were prisoners now,our furking prisoners.Xander and Alven stood next to me, weapons ready, while Liam, despite his injuries, leaned silently against a wooden post. The Bloodfang warriors surrounded our captives, their expressions filled with haterd. They had waited long for this moment. But this was not merely about revenge. It was about obtaining answers. And I was determined to find them.I stood before Ronan, locking eyes with the man who once haunted my nightmares, and destroyed everything nature gives me.Now?He seemed diminished, finished infact.Vulnerable."I never thought I'd witness the day you'd be reduced to this," I said quietly.Ronan managed a smirk, but it lacked conviction. "Enjoy this moment."I seized

  • MATED FOR ONLY A BABY   HUNT

Gwen POVAfter Ronan was captured alive, I finally tasted victory for the first time in what felt like ages, like for year's.I wasn't on the run anymore; I was the predator.Inside the Bloodfang camp, Ronan was shackled like a wild dog, his confident smirk replaced by the sweeter expression of fear. But my quest wasn't finished yet,not yet.Tina and Selene were still out there. And I intended to track them down.Standing at the camp's edge, I looked into the dark forest, with Xander and Alven, both armed. Liam leaned against a tree, still recovering from his injuries , gradually."They won't go down easily," Xander said quietly, adjusting his sword grip firmly."I don't expect them to," I replied with annoyance, my tone drained of emotion. "That's why we can't give them a chance to fight back,NEVER."Alven, who had been silent since the last battle, finally spoke. His voice was low, slow and dangerous. "We eliminate them before they get away."I couldn't argue with that.We walked in

  • MATED FOR ONLY A BABY   WAR AGAIN

Gwen POVThe night before the battle felt like the longest stretch of time in my life and beyond. The Bloodfang warriors stood alongside us, like there have known us for ages, sharpening their weapons in preparation for a conflict that would determine everything. The atmosphere was charged with tension and fear, the metallic smell of steel and blood already engulfing my senses. This was the moment, the moment I have been waiting for.No more evasion. No more concealment, no more running,it time to face the fears. We were confronting Ronan head-on. This fight would end here.I positioned myself at the camp's perimeter, looking into the horizon. The moon shined through the trees with a silver glow. Behind me, Liam, Xander, and Alven were finalizing their arrangements."Are you ready for this?" Xander asked, joining me.I released a deep breath. "I don't think I've ever felt prepared for anything in my life, I am more than prepared."He laughed lightly. "That's the essence of war. Readine

  • MATED FOR ONLY A BABY   VENGEANCE

Gwen POVAs the early morning sun filtered through the thick trees, it shines through the path ahead with golden beams and hues. Each step I took was accompanied by sharp pain, yet I pushed forward. We all did, we all need to be strong for ourselves. The individuals who had came out from Ronan's dungeon were no longer the same. We had been shattered, destroyed tormented, beaten. But now, we had transformed to something more crucial and lethal. We were survivors. And survivors do more than just endure; they fight back.Liam was by my side, still weak in body but unwavering and undieing in spirit. Xander moved at a slower pace, his thigh injury still painful, yet his golden eyes gleamed with resolve. Alven had been largely silent, but his eyes carried a spark of the man he once was, so strong. We weren't certain of our destination, but our focus was clear: we needed strength to take down Ronan. However, fate had different plans for us, good plans too.Just when I thought we were alone i
