Russell returned to the room later on. I was seated on the bed, looking gloomy. He moved closer and sat beside me.

“Why?” I queried, looking at him. “Why were you reacting like that?”

“It’s nothing. So, can I answer all your questions now?” he asked, diverting from the main topic. But I was even more interested in finding out more about him so, the diversion didn’t bother me much.
