I walked down the hallway, heading to start my investigation about that Jezebel intruder when I saw Bryson coming along. I neared it, carefully lifting my hands to the curtains. The moment I held the curtains to close it, the face of Rusair loomed over my face. “Argh…!” I was forced to scream, cowering back from the window. I was shivering.“Mateo?!” a hand came on my shoulder and my heart flew out of me.“Please, don’t kill me, please,” I begged.“What happened, Mateo?” Emery asked, appearing in my front.
