تسجيل الدخولSELENE POV
This was never how it was supposed to go. I had planned everything down to the smallest detail. Every outcome was meant to bend in my favor. For years, I had positioned myself carefully beside the Draven triplets, not as a threat, not as an outsider, but as. someone they trusted and they needed. Someone they would one day choose to stand by their side. With me at their side, the kingdom would have been unstoppable. The Devon triplets ruling with strength and fear, and me by their side, guiding, influencing, controlling. A witch as their bride is the best decision they would have ever made. Power didn’t need to sit on the throne to rule if I’m with them, but Hannah decided to spoil my plan. When I saw her during the ritual, I knew she was going to be trouble. I hoped she wouldn’t have succeeded, but she ended up being the chosen one. Seeing her at the dining table, I knew she was going to be a threat to my plan. But she’s getting worse with every minute she spends here. All it took was less than a week. Less than a week, and the triplets were already adjusting their behavior around her, thinking about her, even when they pretended not to. I noticed it in the way Kael’s gaze lingered longer than necessary. In the way Lucien listened instead of dismissing. In the way Riven watched her like she was something unfamiliar he wanted to understand. That had never happened before. Not with anyone, not even me. I had spent years making myself indispensable. Healing wounds. Fixing problems. Standing beside them when others bowed or cowered. Putting them first, I even became their witch and their ally. I helped them create potions, and also helped with their wars. And now a fragile human girl had disrupted the balance without even trying. When she refused to come out of her room, I watched from a distance. I expected them to break her, to make her regret every surviving the ritual. But instead, they watched and waited for her. They even sent that clumsy little thing called Tiana to give her food. Although they threatened her with her mother, but they didn’t force the door open. They gave her the opportunity to open the door. Those are not the aphasI knew and grew up with. Their actions already told me everything I needed to know. She mattered to them, and they weren’t going to let her go. The night she finally came downstairs, I felt her conflicted energy before I even sighted her. I stood at the entrance of the dining hall and saw her sitting there. She looked so thin, tired and weak. It was extremely obvious she hadn’t eaten for days. Jealousy flared throughout my body. I tried controlling it but sitting with her on the same table didn’t sit right with me. She was my competition and my enemy. I can’t seat on the same table with my enemy. She shouldn’t have been there, that seat was never meant for her. She could have just starved to death, but she just had to have a stubborn spirit. I couldn’t stay. If I had, I might have lost control. Might have said something I couldn’t take back or even killed her with my powers. I couldn’t let the triplets see what I refused to show anyone. They couldn’t see my bad side. They always knew me as the sweet witch friend they’ve had since we were teenagers. Because for the first time in years, i felt fear and uncertainty. The truth was simple, even if it angered me to admit it. As long as Hannah stayed in the palace, my position was at risk. She didn’t need power. She doesn’t even know how her presence alone was enough to shift things and pull the triplets attention away from me. I had sacrificed too much to be replaced by a human girl with trembling hands and stubborn pride. If Hannah stayed close to the triplets, she would grow bolder. Stronger. More confident. And with time, they would stop seeing her as a tool and start seeing her as something else. I couldn’t let that happen. They’re mine and mine alone. If the triplets don’t take her away, I’ll have no choice than to remove her completely from the face of the earth.SELENE POVThis was never how it was supposed to go. HANNAH POVI woke up startled by the knock on the door. This one rattled the door in its frame, sharp and deliberate, like whoever stood on the other side wanted me to feel it. It wasn’t Tianna, it had to be the alphas. “Hannah.” My body tensed instantly. I stood up from my bed and went to stay behind the door. I didn’t answer. I had come to the realization that silence was the only thing that still belonged to me.“Hannah,” Kael said again. His voice was calm, but still sound very cold. “Open the door.”I shut my eyes tightly. My stomach grumbled in hunger. I had barely eaten anything in days. My limbs felt weak, dizziness taking over my body. But I didn’t move.“I’m not coming out,” I said hoarsely. A pause followed. I imagined them standing there, tall and powerful, knowing they could force their way in if they wanted to. Knowing they didn’t need to.Lucien spoke next. “You can’t keep doing this.”“I can,” I replied, my voice shaking despite my effort to sound firm. “And I will
HANNAH POVThe knock came in the morning, interrupting my sleep. I didn’t even know how I drifted off to sleep. The knock startled me and I was up on my feet in seconds. “Hannah.” I froze at the sound of my name. I recognized the voice immediately. Calm and also controlling. It was Kael. “Breakfast is ready.” I didn’t answer. For a moment, there was only silence. My heart thudded painfully against my chest as I waited, unsure of what would come next.“Hannah,” the voice came again, firmer this time. “You are expected downstairs.”I swallowed hard, and my throat suddenly became dry. My fingers dug into the fabric of the bedspread as fear crept slowly up my spine. I thought of the paper they had slid across the table earlier. The words burned into my memory. The way they had looked at me like I was something they already owned. I needed my freedom and I needed to be my own person. And if I wanted to be free, I needed to fight for it. “No,” I whispered, though I knew they couldn’t he
HANNAH POVI woke up slowly, trying to get used to the lights and taking in my surroundings. I didn’t know where I was. The bed beneath me was too soft. The air smelled unfamiliar. I looked up at the ceiling, , it wasn’t the cracked, peeling paint I was used to seeing at home. It was high, Too high. I didn’t remember having a chandelier in my room. My heart skipped as reality rushed back all at once. The palace, The ritual, The three alphas. I wasn’t at home anymore. I was now at the palace with no way of leaving. Memories of my mum came to me, and a part of me felt guilty for leaving her at home all alone in her condition, while another part of me still had hope that my sacrifice won’t go to waste. I took in the whole room. The sun shone through the window, brightening the whole room, which made it look more luxurious than it was already. Tall windows draped in heavy fabric, Polished floors that reflected the soft glow of lanterns mounted on the walls, My breath caught as I took
HANNAH POVThe gates closed behind the limousine with a deep, echoing sound. I pressed my hands against my thighs, my fingers trembling as the car rolled deeper into the palace grounds. The building loomed ahead of us, massive and unforgiving, its stone walls glowing faintly under the moonlight. Towers stretched into the sky like silent watchers, their windows lit with a warm glow that did nothing to calm my nerves.I felt like I’ve entered into prison, with no hopes of leaving. The alphas words still ranged in my head like a bell. “YOU BELONG TO US.” I wasn’t a property that they could just decide they own, but I knew I couldn’t do anything about it. No one spoke as the car came to a stop. The door opened and cold night air rushed in, carrying a strange scent that made my chest tighten. Something wild. Something ancient. I was overthinking everything but I just couldn’t stop myself from thinking. I wished this was all a dream, and I’ll just wake up in the familiar comfort of my roo
HANNAH POVThe walk to the car was slow. The door shut behind me, I knew I couldn’t escape again. My body stiffened instantly. The word Chosen, echoed in my head. I actually survived. I was still scared, and wondered what happened to the other girls, but I didn’t dare voice out my opinion. For a second, I thought the darkness inside the limousine was playing tricks on my eyes. I’ve never been in one, but I didn’t expect the interior to be dark. My heart pounded as I slowly lifted my head. That was when I saw them. Three men sat inside the limousine. My breath caught so sharply, I literally forgot I needed oxygen to survive. .They weren’t seated close together. Each of them occupied the space like they owned it, as though the car had been built around their presence. One sat directly across from me, his posture relaxed but alert, his gaze fixed on my face with an intensity that made the hair on my skin come to life. . Another leaned against the tinted window, arms crossed, eyes sharp
