ARIA

The heels of my feet ached badly as I placed one foot in front of another. Our steps were slower and weak. My entire being was weak and tired to the bones and the weather wasn't helping it at all. My hair sticked to my nape and the beads of sweat rolled down my body parts, making me uncomfortable. My left shoulder has been shouting in protest, the heavy load of snacks, water and other refreshments in a duffel bag. I couldn't complain, not when Morris had two bags on her shoulder, one for clothes and the other one, thick bed spread, light covers and other emergency products.

We had snuck out at night with the help of Morris's sister, Hamish who I never met till yesterday. She pretended to be the Luna in bed while I wore her clothings and gracefully walked out of my chambers. The guards weren't alert at all. Even as we reached the main gates, the soldiers didn't spare us a look before opening the grand gates of the palace. That's how our journey to the land of nowhere began.
