Missing

It was late at night when Billy reached home from his place of abduction, he sneaked in through the shadow of the moonlight hoping no eyes had caught him, he crept through the open space in front of his hut, levelled his belly to the earth, roamed about wandering like a child and to his expectations, no figure was in sight, all lonely.

‘All clear’. He murmured

Like he was making his hunt a catch of himself he saw his hut ajar, surely they did notice his absence and would surely blow the trumpet once he's seen. He should be off and away from the community, he thought to himself as he hurriedly barged into his hut but there was still no alarm, all was clear to him.
