“If I could, I would have” I muttered to her

“But Why? We both know that we love him,” Avila replied to me.

“You love Ace, not me” I reacted to her.

“Erica, I love him, please don't push him away, he seems to like us a lot,” Avila said pleading.

“Where is the powerful and fierce wolf I used to know, have you suddenly become feeble? You know how hard I suffered to get to where I am today, I can't push everything down the chute for an omega, a common low-ranked omega. My father's work and everything, I can't just do that” I said to Avila who seemed to get me.

“So what do you want to do about it, you can't reject him” Avila replied to me.

“I'll have to make him reject me no matter what. All you have to do is control your self” I muttered to her.

“Ok I will but I'm not sure the rejection would be possible” Avila responded to me.

“And why is that?” I asked her.

“Creed seems to love you a lot, Ace said that to me,” Avila said to me.

“That's none of my business” I grunted entering my car as I went back to the office.

CREED'S POV

I saw a beautiful lady walking out of the room scrolling through her phone.

I tried avoiding her but she crashed into me, seems like she was really into her phone. I grabbed her saving her from hitting the ground.

She placed her hands on my shoulder to support herself as she lifted her head slowly.

I made contact with her goldish eyes, then I could hear her wolf  screaming “mate mate!!” So as mine.

“Are you a wolf?” she asked me as I replied nodding my head.

“And you must be Erica the most powerful Alpha female there is,” I replied to her.

“How did you know that?” she growled at me with a rigid look on her face.

“Ace told me, he seems to like your wolf, Avila a lot” I replied with a shiver as I grinned at her.

“Hi I'm Creed,” I said stretching my hand to shake her but Ignored me.

“Ohhh, this is nice, I see you've met the late worker already” Aiden, her beta walked in introducing me.

“He is one of the workers I recruited into the company, he is also an omega of the Crystal white pack,” Aiden said as he continued to introduce me to Alpha Erica.

Erica didn't seem happy with what she had heard,

She shouted “What?” leaving a bizarre articulation on her face as she left without uttering a word.

I looked at her as she walked away, she looked so pretty and I couldn't seem to take my eyes off her.

My wolf kept on pleading with me to follow her but I  didn't.

“Creed Follow her, follow her!” Ace kept on yelling as I tried to control him.

“No Ace, keep it down” I muttered to him.

“Why?” Ace responded back to me.

“She doesn't seem happy” I murmured.

“I too saw the reaction on her face, But it's so amazing that Alpha Erica is our mate. She looks so beautiful and Yes, and I really love Avila a lot, she seems friendly” Ace replied back to me.

“Oh really?”  I muttered with a grin on my face.

“Helloo” I could see Aiden waving his hand across my face.

“Yes sir?” I replied to him snapping back to reality.

“Remember you're late and there was a meeting going on before you came” Aiden replied to me.

“I'm sorry sir,” I said apologizing to him.

“This is your last warning no more late coming, Any more late coming comes with a penalty,” he said to me honing his fingers at me.

“Okay sir,” I said as I walked into the board room.

ERICA’S POV

I got into my car and steered back to the office, I needed to get Creed off my Paws.

I walked into the office dauntlessly calling out to Aiden who quickly surged to me in shock.

“Erica, what’s wrong?” Aiden rushed me with a shiver.

“Call me…..what’s the name of that dog who came in late for his orientation?” I asked him.

“Um Creed” he replied to me.

“Exactly call him to my office,” I said instructing him.

“Is anything wrong? I could deal with it for you” he said to me.

“There’s nothing wrong, just send him to my office thank you,” I said walking out on Aiden.

“Wow, she looks angry, I hope that crazy dog hasn't done anything stupid,” Aiden said as he walked out to get Creed.

CREED’S POV

After the orientation, we were all posted to our different posts and workspaces, some of my associates weren’t wolves, some seemed to be humans but anyway it was nice.

While I sat down in my workspace I couldn’t help but think about Erica the whole time.

I was so excited that I'd finally meet my mate and she looked pretty.

Her beautiful face, her lovely eyes, her gorgeous hair, I haven’t seen her grin yet but I know she would have such a beautiful one with those beautiful lips of hers. She was everything I ever wanted from a mate.

No one loved her and Avila more than Ace, he always gets hyper knowing that she is our mate. I remember how she declined my handshake with a frown and decided to talk to Ace about it.

“Ace?” I muttered to him.

“Yes Creed” he responded back to me.

“Do you think Erica likes me?” I asked Ace

“She should, you’re her mate” he replied to me.

“Remember that she declined with a rigid look on her face when I tried shaking her” I muttered to him.

“Maybe she doesn’t like handshakes” Ace replied to me as I grinned.

“Well I’m possessive over her already, she’s beautiful and I promise to mark her as mine because she is mine and only mine” I muttered.

  • MATED   Chapter 18

Aiden’s POV:I stood stiffly near the door, arms crossed, watching the the truck vanish.“She shouldn’t have come here,” i muttered.Malric finally turned back to me. “Where is your Alpha?”I blinked. “Erica?”“Unless you’ve got a spare one hiding in the garden.”My brow furrowed. “She left this morning. Said she had something to handle up north. Didn’t say what.”Malric’s face stayed unreadable. “Alone?”“She said it was an ‘Alpha duty.’ She didn’t take any guards and even when I tried she wouldn’t let me go.”“Hm.”I hesitated, then exhaled sharply. “She’s been off since the ball. Quiet. Shut in. Moving weirdly,Snapping at people. She hasn’t slept at her chambers since after the ball too.”Malric looked toward the horizon again. The sun was setting lower now and long shadows stretched across the forest.“I feel it,” he said finally, voice low.“Feel what?” I asked.“A bad thing,” Malric said simply. “I need to see her urgently.”“What kind of bad thing?”Malric gave no answer. Just

  • MATED   Chapter 17

The tires crunched over the gravels as the Packs SUV rolled into woods. The drive through woods was slow and heavy. Each sector blurred into the next…woods, rocky paths, old dens and so on.I knocked on doors of each territories. Asked questions. Some wolves shrugged, some promised to ask around, some just gave her that pitying look which I hated more than anything. No one had seen him. We checked a broken fence along the East Ridge. Nothing. We even passed the creek where Creed used to fish as a kid. Still nothing. Where could it be, I was loosing all my strength. Then finally, we reached the last place. Erica’s Pack Terittory. A big estate situated in the middle of the woods, quiet, luxurious and calm, I had always heard how big the estate is but I’ve never been here before and it seems their fact wasn’t exaggerated enough because it’s bigger than how I was told it was. I climbed out of rhe SUV, counting my steps and made my way to the front door, it was big and giganti

  • MATED   Chapter 16

Jimmy stepped forward, arms crossed, he gave a stupid smug look on his face like he had the nerve to judge me.“Why do you care if he lives?” he asked. “Didn’t you want him gone? An omega for a mate? That was the joke, right?”I lunged at him so fast he hit the wall. I had him by the throat, my eyes flickering gold and then back to black.“I DON’T KNOW!” I growl. “Okay? I don’t fucking know!”His feet kicked uselessly against the floor.“I didn’t want this bond,” I snarled. “I didn’t want him. But I can’t…I can’t feel anything without him right now. And I hate it. I hate that he matters. I hate that he’s mine.”I let Jimmy drop to the ground, coughing and gasping.Silence covered the room. All I could hear was Jimmy stupid breaths. “You can’t use that shadow healer, you know that right? It’s a curse and you’ll get banished if caught”I was knee deep in dead ends staring down at Creed’s barely-breathing body like I was supposed to know how to fix this.At this point I was frustrated

  • MATED   Chapter 15

Erica’s POVI ran down the stairs, or should I say flew down because I couldn’t feel my feet touching the floor or maybe I just missed a step or some steps, I don’t know. Everything inside me felt like it was collapsing as I screamed without sound. The phone call still rang in my head, all I could hear echoing in my head was“He’s not breathing right,” “He may be dead, Alpha.”Creed, dead?Fucking Creed. I’d planned to kidnap him, not kill him. That wasn’t the goddamn deal.I hit the ending of the stairs nearly crashing into the railing as I turned the corner. “Erica!”I heard a voice, low and firm, I froze cold yet I could feel sweat drip from my face, “oh moon goddess” i muttered as I turned. It was Aiden, I looked at him relieved. He stepped into the hall like he always does, calm and composed. His brows drawn tight, his posture rigid.“Where are you going?” he asked. Not angry. Not suspicious. Just… watching me.I didn’t have time for this.“I need you to take over at the offi

  • MATED   Chapter 14

The ball began and everyone began to dance with their partners. While I sat and watched I felt a strange grip around my shoulders with a handsome voice “love to join me my baby girl?” I turned around to see who was that and it was “Dinerooooo!” I screamed hugging him back. “You silly wolf, you're back and you didn't let me know about it?” I said still giving him a hug. “I wanted to Suprise you,you know? I was invited here and told that all the alphas would be here so I called to find out if you would be coming and of course you did” he said with a grin on his face.“Oh dinero I missed you a lot” I said pinching his chubby cheeks“Of course you should” he chuckled, “may we have this dance?” he said gesturing his hand towards the dancing floor and we began to dance, it all felt like a fairy tale as the blue Cinderella lights shun upon us.*********I panicked out of my sleep to find my phone’s ringing again. “Of course, what else is going to disturb my peace by 6am in the morning”

  • MATED   Chapter 13

One of the other rogues panicked. "We weren't supposed to kill him! The Alpha will kill us!"“The Alpha?” I questioned myself trying to stop the gushing blood from coming out.Jimmy shrugged. "Don't worry about it. Let's just get him out of here."They quickly stuffed me into a sack, and I was lifted off the ground. As they carried me away, I heard a voice shouting behind us."Halt! What do you have there?"One of the Crystal White Pack's gammas, Lucas, had caught up to us."Just a statue, gamma," one of the rogues replied. "We're taking it to the ball for repairs."Lucas narrowed his eyes. "At this hour? And in a sack?"The rogue hesitated. "It's... uh... delicate. We can't let it get damaged the more."Lucas frowned. "I want to see this statue."“Gamma, gamma, we've been sent by the alpha and he needs us to repair this quick, you're wasting our time” one of the rogues said as I tried to make sounds to get his attention.“What was that sound? Did it…”“Uh…..Its me….. gamma, I was…..
