My Mate Is An Omega?

last update Last Updated: 2023-03-20 12:14:08

“We’ll you better calm down because we’re in public” I muttered to her once more before entering the board room to meet up with my employees.

I entered the board room having my seat as the staffers and my Beta, Aiden, walked into the room.

I took my phone and checked some notifications while they all settled down.

While I did that, I felt a strange ambiance in the room, I wondered why I could be feeling like this.

I shunned the signs and proceeded to use my phone.

“Alright Erica, these are the new company workers, although one seems to be late on his first day of work,” Aiden said looking around as he fiddled with his eyes.

“That's too bad, give him his final warning” I replied lowering my phone on the table.

“Yes ma'am, Erica, you can start lecturing them about the company,” Aiden said to me as he stepped back a bit.

“Um, how about you do that, I would be back soon, I need to make a call,” I said walking out of the room.

While I walked out of the room, I took my phone and continued scrolling through the contacts on my phone.

While I did that, I bashed into a young man and was about to fall. I waited to fall but I felt strong hands on my body grabbing me firmly and got a powerful sensation radiating around me.

I hadn't looked at his face at that time and got furious about it.

I placed my hands to support myself in order not to fall out of his arms.

I lifted my head and was about to yell at him when I made contact with some beautiful blue eyes.

Avila went incredibly crazy to the point that she almost shifted.

“Mate! Mate!” Avila said going wild.

“Mate?” My human form questioned Avila as I snapped out of it and moved back a little.

“Are you a wolf?” I asked him as he replied nodding his head.

“And you must be Erica the most powerful Alpha female there is,” he replied to me.

“How did you know that?” I growled with a rigid look on my face.

“Ace told me, he seems to like your wolf, Avila a lot” He replied to me with a smile.

“Hi I'm Creed,” he said extending his hand to shake me but I declined.

“Ohhh, this is lovely, I see you've met the late employee of yours already,” Aiden said walking into the province.

“Employee?” Erica yelled looking at Aiden and then Creed and back to Aiden.

“Yes, employee, He is one of the new workers I recruited into the company, he is also an omega of the Crystal white pack, it's nice having more wolves around us,” Aiden said to me grinning.

“What?” I asked darting at Aiden.

“Is there any issue with that?” Aiden asked in disarray.

“No, I'm leaving, take care of the company,” I said in a mind link with Aiden and left without uttering a word.

“How is this possible? that can't be my mate! He is an omega, he is very low from my ranking... I have to see the council for more investigation” I muttered to myself as I left the company to the pack council.

“Any woman who by chance becomes the first alpha to this pack, shall not be mate with anybody lower than her title, she must only be a mate to an Alpha of her class, if she by any means goes against this rule, she must then step down from being the Alpha and must therefore transfer her title to another member of the pack who is next in line”

That was the only thing I could hear ringing in my mind while I drove to the council.

Avila on the other hand seemed to be sad as I couldn't connect with her anymore.

I didn't want a mate but Avila did.

I saw this as nothing but a big distraction and destruction to my years of hard work.

“An omega? Not even a Beta?” I questioned myself as I continued to steer through the forest route.

I got to the council and meet the three pack council in their chamber.

“If it isn't Alpha Erica,” One of the chief council said grinning at me.

“How may we be of help to you today,” Another member of the council questioned me as I ambled closer to them.

“Any odds I find my mate and he ends up being a low ranking to me, what would I do?” I asked them as one of the chiefs lifted a brow at me.

“Well, he has to reject you,” The council replied to me.

“Can't I reject him instead as an Alpha?” I asked worriedly.

“No that would not be possible, he is the male and you are the female, he has to be the one rejecting you not you rejecting him. That's law” the council replied to me.

“Huh? This is ridiculous” I said to myself standing restlessly.

“What is it Alpha Erica?, Have you found your mate?” One of the chief council asked me.

“Huh?” I said pretending not to hear the council.

“Have you found your mate?” he repeated once more with a grin.

“No I just wanted to find out some particular things” I replied to them.

Telling the council about this would ruin everything, remember that, this pack never wanted me as their Alpha in the first place. If they get to find out about this, they would find every possible way to make me mate with Creed so I would drop off my title.

“Alright, Alpha Erica” the council replied to me.

“I'll take my leave”, I said sauntering out of the council.

I tried connecting to Avila but she didn't respond. After several attempts, she eventually responded to me.

“So you want to reject our mate?” Avila asked me in a fragile manner.

That didn't sound like Avila. It appeared my wolf was down.

Aiden’s POV:I stood stiffly near the door, arms crossed, watching the the truck vanish.“She shouldn’t have come here,” i muttered.Malric finally turned back to me. “Where is your Alpha?”I blinked. “Erica?”“Unless you’ve got a spare one hiding in the garden.”My brow furrowed. “She left this morning. Said she had something to handle up north. Didn’t say what.”Malric’s face stayed unreadable. “Alone?”“She said it was an ‘Alpha duty.’ She didn’t take any guards and even when I tried she wouldn’t let me go.”“Hm.”I hesitated, then exhaled sharply. “She’s been off since the ball. Quiet. Shut in. Moving weirdly,Snapping at people. She hasn’t slept at her chambers since after the ball too.”Malric looked toward the horizon again. The sun was setting lower now and long shadows stretched across the forest.“I feel it,” he said finally, voice low.“Feel what?” I asked.“A bad thing,” Malric said simply. “I need to see her urgently.”“What kind of bad thing?”Malric gave no answer. Just

  • MATED   Chapter 17

The tires crunched over the gravels as the Packs SUV rolled into woods. The drive through woods was slow and heavy. Each sector blurred into the next…woods, rocky paths, old dens and so on.I knocked on doors of each territories. Asked questions. Some wolves shrugged, some promised to ask around, some just gave her that pitying look which I hated more than anything. No one had seen him. We checked a broken fence along the East Ridge. Nothing. We even passed the creek where Creed used to fish as a kid. Still nothing. Where could it be, I was loosing all my strength. Then finally, we reached the last place. Erica’s Pack Terittory. A big estate situated in the middle of the woods, quiet, luxurious and calm, I had always heard how big the estate is but I’ve never been here before and it seems their fact wasn’t exaggerated enough because it’s bigger than how I was told it was. I climbed out of rhe SUV, counting my steps and made my way to the front door, it was big and giganti

  • MATED   Chapter 16

Jimmy stepped forward, arms crossed, he gave a stupid smug look on his face like he had the nerve to judge me.“Why do you care if he lives?” he asked. “Didn’t you want him gone? An omega for a mate? That was the joke, right?”I lunged at him so fast he hit the wall. I had him by the throat, my eyes flickering gold and then back to black.“I DON’T KNOW!” I growl. “Okay? I don’t fucking know!”His feet kicked uselessly against the floor.“I didn’t want this bond,” I snarled. “I didn’t want him. But I can’t…I can’t feel anything without him right now. And I hate it. I hate that he matters. I hate that he’s mine.”I let Jimmy drop to the ground, coughing and gasping.Silence covered the room. All I could hear was Jimmy stupid breaths. “You can’t use that shadow healer, you know that right? It’s a curse and you’ll get banished if caught”I was knee deep in dead ends staring down at Creed’s barely-breathing body like I was supposed to know how to fix this.At this point I was frustrated

  • MATED   Chapter 15

Erica’s POVI ran down the stairs, or should I say flew down because I couldn’t feel my feet touching the floor or maybe I just missed a step or some steps, I don’t know. Everything inside me felt like it was collapsing as I screamed without sound. The phone call still rang in my head, all I could hear echoing in my head was“He’s not breathing right,” “He may be dead, Alpha.”Creed, dead?Fucking Creed. I’d planned to kidnap him, not kill him. That wasn’t the goddamn deal.I hit the ending of the stairs nearly crashing into the railing as I turned the corner. “Erica!”I heard a voice, low and firm, I froze cold yet I could feel sweat drip from my face, “oh moon goddess” i muttered as I turned. It was Aiden, I looked at him relieved. He stepped into the hall like he always does, calm and composed. His brows drawn tight, his posture rigid.“Where are you going?” he asked. Not angry. Not suspicious. Just… watching me.I didn’t have time for this.“I need you to take over at the offi

  • MATED   Chapter 14

The ball began and everyone began to dance with their partners. While I sat and watched I felt a strange grip around my shoulders with a handsome voice “love to join me my baby girl?” I turned around to see who was that and it was “Dinerooooo!” I screamed hugging him back. “You silly wolf, you're back and you didn't let me know about it?” I said still giving him a hug. “I wanted to Suprise you,you know? I was invited here and told that all the alphas would be here so I called to find out if you would be coming and of course you did” he said with a grin on his face.“Oh dinero I missed you a lot” I said pinching his chubby cheeks“Of course you should” he chuckled, “may we have this dance?” he said gesturing his hand towards the dancing floor and we began to dance, it all felt like a fairy tale as the blue Cinderella lights shun upon us.*********I panicked out of my sleep to find my phone’s ringing again. “Of course, what else is going to disturb my peace by 6am in the morning”

  • MATED   Chapter 13

One of the other rogues panicked. "We weren't supposed to kill him! The Alpha will kill us!"“The Alpha?” I questioned myself trying to stop the gushing blood from coming out.Jimmy shrugged. "Don't worry about it. Let's just get him out of here."They quickly stuffed me into a sack, and I was lifted off the ground. As they carried me away, I heard a voice shouting behind us."Halt! What do you have there?"One of the Crystal White Pack's gammas, Lucas, had caught up to us."Just a statue, gamma," one of the rogues replied. "We're taking it to the ball for repairs."Lucas narrowed his eyes. "At this hour? And in a sack?"The rogue hesitated. "It's... uh... delicate. We can't let it get damaged the more."Lucas frowned. "I want to see this statue."“Gamma, gamma, we've been sent by the alpha and he needs us to repair this quick, you're wasting our time” one of the rogues said as I tried to make sounds to get his attention.“What was that sound? Did it…”“Uh…..Its me….. gamma, I was…..
