"Can you tell me why you chose that location for your engagement party?" Haxilla asked Kaley a question that made me roll my eyes.

"Isn't it self-evident—" 

"Shut up, I'm not asking you," she said, and my mouth opened slightly in surprise.

"Wow, you're talking to me like that now, huh?" I inquired, my curiosity piqued by what she had just said.

"Hello! Try not to battle here, my God! OK, Haxilla, I picked that place since that is the thing that Aunt Lea's need. She truly pushed us to pick that spot," Kaley clarified while taking a gander at us in the back reflect. 

I inclined toward the vehicle's window and watching the raindrops outside. We're returning yet Kaley demanded that we should drop off first in her bar. 

"Your Aunt Lea doesn't have a decent taste, " Haxilla murmured yet everybody heard it, including Krause that fixed his hold in steerwheel when Haxilla toss an affront to her mom. 

"You offended an off-base individual, young lady," Britanny basically murmured to her while topping on Krause's side. 

"I-I don't think thus, Aunt Lea has an excellent taste with regards to places," Kaley giggled clumsily while attempting to quiet her life partner.

We showed up on the bar with the abnormal climate as a result of Haxilla's mouth. 

She truly doesn't have the foggiest idea how to control her words, tss. 

"My God, Hax, for what reason did you say those words when Krause are with us? You know the amount Krause abhors it when somebody offended his family members!" Kaley chastened Hax, after she chatted with Krause. 

"Okay, I'm grieved. I didn't intend to affront her mom, I simply don't care for the spot she picked," she inclined toward the lounge chair while drinking her lager. 

I moped while thinking something. 

I want to be with Haru now.

For what reason did I think such humorous things?

We got home at exactly 10:00 p.m., didn't talk much, and went straight to our apartment.

When I remembered what I did with Haru, I collapsed on the bed and bit my lower lip.

When I picked up my phone, Haru had bombarded me with text messages and phone calls. I replie d with a smile.

He called me right away when he recieved my message.

[Are you already in your home now?]

When he suddenly points his pointing finger on my nose and looks into my eyes, my brows furrowed.

"....please don't flirt with Jax. You're the only one I have." He sighed as he finished his sentence. I kissed him on the lips after squeezing his cheeks.

"Did you go anywhere last night?" While we were eating breakfast, Haxilla asked me.

I arrived home at 5 a.m. after spending the night in Haru's condo. I'm not sure if Haxilla caught me sneaking out last night or if she noticed I was late for breakfast.

Unless I slept late the night before, I'm usually the first one at the breakfast table.

"Where did I go?" I followed up with another question. I ignored her glare as she dropped her fork and knife on the table.

"Stop telling lies, Selena," she said solemnly, but I managed to mock her with a sarcastic smile.

"Believe what you want to believe," I said simply as I ate the last bite of my sandwich.

I walked away from the table without saying anything. I'm not sure what happened, but Haxilla's behavior toward me has suddenly irritated me.

She's become overly protective, and I feel like she's squeezing my neck. It irritates me.

I jumped into bed and scrolled through my social media accounts, smiling as Haru shared an update with me on his i*******m.

I touched the comment section by accident, and one comment caught my eye.

"Oh my goodness, another one of his victims..." I was perplexed when I read the comment.

Another victim? What does it mean? 

That comment has gotten a lot of responses. The majority of them claimed that the girl who made the comment was envious and jealous of me because I was with Haru.

I was about to smile when another girl said that Haru left her when he found out she was pregnant with their child, and that Haru insisted he wasn't the father of the child despite the fact that they were both virgins at the time.

A part of me wanted to believe the girls who posted and responded to the comment, but another part of me knew Haru couldn't do such things.

I lay down on my bed, my eyes closed, trying to process everything I had just read.

"My head hurts!" I said this as I rubbed mint oil into my temples. When Britanny knocked on my door, I put down what I was doing.

"Where did you go?" she asked again.

"Haru's condo."

I saw how she startled and shook me a little.

"I have to go, take care!" Haxilla suddenly appeared, rushing to the door. A photo dropped from his book, I took it and it's a photo of me and Haru in the mall.

I looked again where Haxilla passed.
