Chapter 38: BOX

"What did she say?" Anu asked the moment I returned back in the room.

"She doesn't want us to ruin dad's birthday which is tomorrow."I said.

"It's alright. Let's zip up for today and tomorrow."he promised.

The night went so well and dad's day reached. Anu and I had planned a surprise for him.

Anu was to turn to a lion and pretend as if he wants to attack me. I was to scream for help. There my dad would come rushing to me. But instead of going to him, I would run downstairs where the celebrations were to be held. All this was to be done in the dark.

And after that, we would switch on the lights and celebrate his birthday in an amazing way.

We were demons that's why we liked doing great things in the dark but Mr Smith was a human so he had human friends who would wish to celebrate him on his birthday during the day. That for, the party had to favor both sides.
