CHAPTER 14

Zion

I tried to stop thinking about what I had seen as I made my way back to my chamber, but I was unable to do so. Aria's powers are nothing like anything I've ever seen. Her eyes were glimmering purple as I entered her room, and her hands were forming a fire.

Could she be the promised Luna?

No, that's impossible. I have lost two mates, and a third is impossible to have. Things are getting out of hand, and I am struggling to keep Pine under control whenever we are around Aria.

"You are not going to pretend you did not see that silver thread when your hands connected," Pine stated.

"I'm confused and can't do this talk right now.”

"OK, at least you made her stay close. I can still smell her scent,” Pine replied, which was true. Aria's scent was that strong.

I went to the shower and turned on the water, allowing it to run down my skin. When I was done I got ready for bed and woke up a little late the next morning.

A familiar scent hit my nostrils and it was closer than ever.
