"Is there anything you are not telling me?" Thea asked with a serious look.

"No, why are you saying that?" I responded.

"Alpha Claus simply can not seem to get enough of you," she explained.

"You play too much; we need to leave," I murmured, making my way out of the orphanage, Thea following.

“Thea, please, I'm not in the mood," I cut her off.

"It is not what you think; I saw him talking strange things to himself and he was afraid," she explained, but I could not help but chuckle.

"Please, Thea, I do not believe fear affects him. Maybe you're just overthinking," I explained.

"Not when I heard him pleading with you even though you were far away," she replied, and I gazed at her closely
