Meeting Lexi and Antonio.

It's been a month since my parents and I moved to Durane and it hasn't been so bad.

The house we moved into is really big, and more comfortable than where we lived in back in Castings so I guess that's a plus.

We settled in pretty well and my dad looks so happy with his new job. I've never seen him this relaxed before and that's thanks to the fact that he doesn't work for many hours so he's always home before 5p.m.

He gets to spend more time with mom and I, more than he did when we were back in Castings. He's always home on time for dinner now and he's more emotionally available for mom and I than he was before.

Since we moved here everything has been going very well. Except for the fact that I haven't left the house in a month. The only time I left the house was when mom and I went to enroll me in a new high school two days after we got here.

School starts tomorrow and I mentally scream inside at the fact that I'll probably have to socialize and make some new friends.

Charles and I talk to each other every day. Not a day goes by that I don't get either a call or a text message from him. Our relationship is doing great as always despite the distance and I think I love him even more now.

"You're playing with your food again Morgana." My mom says across from me pulling me out of my thoughts.

We're at the dinner table. My mom cooked dad's favourite. Pasta. I love pasta too but I don't really understand my dad's obsession with it. A week doesn't go by without my mom cooking pasta.

"Sorry, I was just thinking about school.." I say to her.

"Are you excited? You'll finally have something to do other than sitting in your room all day. Maybe you'll even make a new friend." My dad says with a sweet smile plastered on his face.

"Hmm, I'm kind of nervous. What if nobody likes me? I'm probably going end up being a sad loner.."

"Have you seen you? You may not notice it, but you have an amazing personality and you're like super gorgeous and you're a full on genius. They'd be pretty stupid not to like you.." My dad says, blinking his eyes and smiling at me like a teenage girl which makes mom and I laugh out loud.

"Morgana.. you're going to be late. Eat faster." My mom says standing in front of me like a police officer.

She's even more excited than I am and I'm the one going to school.

"It's not even 8a.m yet mom. If I eat any faster than this I'm going to choke and probably die..." I say to her with pancakes stuffed in my mouth.

"Power of the tongue Morgana..." She says offering me an annoyed look.

My mom always says you can speak anything into existence and that the power of the tongue is the greatest weapon if wielded correctly.

I finish my breakfast and my mom drops me over to school. My school isn't that far from my house, it's only a ten minute ride and I can very much walk by myself but my mom says it would make her happy if I let her drive me every day.

I think she gets bored sometimes staying at home all alone since she's a stay at home mom. She spends most of her time at the gym and shopping and reading and watching her romance shows.

Back at Castings, it wasn't as boring because she had friends she could hang out with. It'll take some time for her to find other women she can relate to here so I guess she must be pretty bored.

"Alright honey, have a nice day. Love you!"

"Love you too, mom!" I wave goodbye and she drives away.

I get into the school find my way to my locker. I'm surprised I didn't even have to ask for directions. I pack my stuff in it and stay only with my calculus text book. The first class we have today.

Oh boy, I love calculus...

"Is that your real hair??" A girl says from behind me with a shriek.

I turn around and meet a beautiful tall brunette with glasses on dressed in tight Jeans and a cute crop top.

"um yeah..." I answer her nervously..

"Wow, it's beautiful. You're so pretty." She says with a cute smile showing off her dimples.

"Hi I'm Lexi..." She reaches her arm out and I grab it giving her a handshake. "Are you new here?" She asks.

"Yes I am.. I'm Morgana.." I say to her with a light smile.

"Oh, Well, welcome to Baxton High. The best high school in town. You made a good choice coming here. We have the best food and the best teachers and the best boys too..." She says with a grin showing off her perfectly white teeth.

She's one of the prettiest girls I've ever seen.

"Thanks.." I say simply.

"So where were you schooling before? Why did you change schools?" Wow, she's very curious.

"Um I actually just moved here from a town called Castings... it's my first time in Durane." I tell her.

"Oh. Double welcome then..." She says moving closer to me offering me a wide grin.

The bells ring and I close my locker. "Do you happen to know where class 202 is? I have calculus right now.." I ask the girl.

"We can go together. That's my first class too.." She grabs my hands and starts leading me to the classroom.

The teacher isn't here yet. Lexi grabs my things and sets them on a desk next to where she's seated. "Sit next to me?" She asks and I simply nod making myself comfortable next to her.

"Is that your real hair??" A voice asks and I lift my head to see a boy standing in front of Lexi. Why is everyone asking me about my hair?

"Yes it is.. cool color huh?" Lexi answers in my place.

"I wasn't asking you, idiot." The boy says and Lexi gives him a light punch on his shoulder.

"Hi, I'm Antonio. But all my friends call me Tony so please call me Tony."

I grab his hand and offer him a handshake. "I'm Morgana."
