RUBY’S POV

“Ruby, you better get your ass out of bed this instant. I know it’s a sunday morning but it’s 12 pm already and you haven’t had breakfast” Clarissa yelled from outside my room, her voice sounding far off as I woke up to see it was morning already.

I moved to get out of bed but was held back by the large arm wrapped tightly around me and I looked back over my shoulder to see it was Dax and he was asleep.

We both had a blanket over ourselves but we were stark naked beneath and memories from the previous night flooded my head, making my face heat up as I recalled everything and Dax opened his eyes to look at me.

“Hey, baby” he called sweetly, his voice deep and rough and doing things to my insides and I smiled at him beforre giving him a brief good morning kiss and he pulled me closer just as I moved to get out of bed for the second attempt.
