RUBY'S POV

Morning came and I woke up when I heard someone knocking on the door. Dax was still asleep so I decided to get the door instead.

I managed to slip out of his arms since he was holding onto me like I was going to run away in the middle of the night. Then I put on my vest and shorts while the knocking persisted and I rushed toward the door to know who was there.

I opened it and I was surprised when I saw it was breakfast. I looked at the resort staff before me and she smiled at me so I made way for her to come into the room and she headed straight for the table In the room to set our breakfast for us.

“We didn't order anything though, so how did you know what we wanted?” I asked her and she kept on smiling while she did her job.

“Mr. Kellen already scheduled everything with us when he booked the room for your stay here” she explained and I nodded in response before she left the room.
