The air was beginning to warm up, though the sky was still gray. Rebecca stood in front of a simply decorated flower shop with terracotta pots and dried lavender sprigs hanging in the window.

She took a deep breath, then entered.

"Hello, Miss," greeted the shop owner, a middle-aged woman.

"Excuse me, I wanted to ask, are there any job openings here?" asked Rebecca, her voice sounding polite.

The woman smiled kindly. "Not at the moment, Miss. But you can leave your CV if you like. Who knows, next month I might need some extra hands."

Rebecca gave a small nod, producing a blue folder from her bag.

"This is my CV. I have no experience in a flower shop, but I can learn fast," she said.

The shopkeeper nodded while accepting the file. "Okay, I'll consider it."

"Thank you." Rebecca smiled. It didn't matter if she worked in a flower shop in the future.
