Chapter Twenty One - I Lost My Job
TWO DAYS AFTER THE DINNERKylie woke up late and so went late to her workplace.
She tiptoed to her table to avoid her boss's trouble."Miss Kylie Martin!" Her boss yelled from her office on seeing her."Oh no. I'm screwed for good" Kylie thought as she walked briskly to her boss's office.
"Have a sit,Miss Martin" Kylie obeyed reluctantly and nervously.
"You've been absent at the office and you also neglected your duties. I expected you to resume after you were healthy but you didn't" Mrs Hilton said as she reviewed some contract she was going to sign with writers.
"Hmm, about that. I didn't exactly neglect all my duties. I was absent,true. But you said it was okay to work from home. So I reviewed the story and edited it every time before uploading it" Kylie explaiRelated chapters
