Phoebe’s POV

An hour before the meeting..

I missed my dear friends. It’s quite a while since I had a chat with them.

They would scream hell on me if I reveal to them I was solving a murder case.

Since I lost most of my contacts. I had to call Jon to help me with that.

I finally got to hear their voices. I had to put them on loud speaker.

“Cat!!

“Phoebe, I missed you more than anything ?”

“me too” Ella whispered.

“You better be,” I teased.

“It’s been a while” Ella said.

“Yeah it has” I responded.

“You should have called earlier, why wait this long for us to miss you this much,” Cassie nagged.

I laughed it out. “Well I wasn’t in Singapore, we went to New York City, for a case,”

“Case?” Ella exclaimed.

“Yeah” I revealed everything to them. They were stunned by it. I took the insults and the scolding with an open heart.

Cat kept yelling on the me. I knew she was loud but sometimes I get stunned at how a human can yell with every cell in her body.
