Anna  looked  everywhere  for  Andrei  on  Monday  but  couldn’t  find  him. She’d  made  a  noncommittal  promise  to  her  mother  on  Saturday  that  she’d  try  to  befriend  Andrei  even  though  she  hated  his  guts  but  she’d  not  been  able  to  get  their  conversation  out  of  her  mind  so  she  decided  to  just  go  ahead  and  see  if  it’d  work  out  between  them...as  friends.
