LOGINRia slowly stood up, no longer paying attention to the little girl. Her mind replayed everything that had happened before this, her room, her bed and her eighteenth birthday,This had to be a dream.
A terrible, ridiculous dream.
She pressed trembling fingers against her forehead and slowly lowered herself back onto the tree root where she had awakened.
“Okay, Ria,” she whispered to herself forcing a shaky smile. “Go back to sleep and wake up in your bed The nightmare is over.”
She closed her eyes tightly and Suddenly someone grabbed her arm roughly.Ria gasped and her eyes flew open and noticed she is still in the same place and The same strange world.
“Have you gone deaf Charlotte?” an irritated female voice snapped. “Your husband ordered you to clean the rooms and you’re still sitting here doing nothing?”
Ria turned toward the woman gripping her arm.
She was tall and striking, with golden hair cascading down her back and sharp blue eyes filled with contempt.Ria slowly stood.
“I… I don’t belong here,” she said weakly, panic thick in her voice. “I don’t even know where I am,Married? I am not married.”
The woman burst into harsh laughter.
“Of course you don’t belong here,” she mocked. “You’re a worthless Luna.”
She released Ria’s hand dramatically and spun around before resting a possessive hand over her stomach.
“But unlike you,” she continued smugly, “I’m carrying the heir of this pack. Which means I need food, comfort and a clean room. So stop standing there and clean my chambers before Alpha Moon from the Royal Pack arrives. You know how important this alliance is.”
Without waiting for a response, she turned and walked away.
Ria remained frozen for several seconds.
“Pack?” she whispered in disbelief.
Completely confused, she slowly followed after the woman.
The enormous stone hallways stretched endlessly before her lined with silver torches and dark banners carrying strange wolf symbols.Voices echoed from an open room ahead.Ria hesitated before stepping inside.
“Oh, look who finally decided to show up,” a woman said lazily.
Ria looked up and froze instantly..“Serene?!
Her voice echoed through the room.
The woman looked exactly like Serene… except older, fuller and dressed like royalty.
Ria stumbled backward in shock before rushing toward her.
“How are you here?” she breathed. “And why do you look—”
She stopped herself immediately for some moment and continued,
“How did you become so fat?”
Slap!
The blow landed hard across her cheek.Ria cried out as she lost balance and crashed onto the floor.
Pain exploded through her face.
Still dazed, she looked up slowly.
Alpha Klein stood beside the woman, fury burning in his eyes.
He approached Ria with terrifying calmness.
“Charlotte,” he said coldly, “you may disrespect yourself all you want but do not ever insult my Lunas.”
Lunas?
Ria’s stomach twisted.
“She is carrying my heir,” Klein continued sharply. “Something you failed to do despite countless chances.”
Ria stared at him in horror.
“No…” she whispered shakily. “No, this can’t be real, I was in London just Yesterday was my birthday and I went home,I remember going home.”Her breathing became uneven.
“I’m not married and even if I were, I would never marry someone like you.”
Klein’s expression darkened instantly. Before she could react he grabbed a fistful of her hair and yanked her upward violently.
Ria screamed.Pain shot through her scalp as tears filled her eyes.
“Stop.”
The command came from behind them. Instantly, Klein released her.
Ria collapsed back to the floor, clutching her head painfully.
Klein quickly straightened himself and forced a smile.
“Alpha Moon,” he said respectfully. “I didn’t expect you this early.”
Ria looked up weakly as a man stepped into the room.Tall,Dark-haired,Sharp jawline.Cold gray eyes.Michael!!
Her breath caught instantly.
He walked closer and extended a hand toward her.Ria stared at him in disbelief.
“Michael…” she whispered.
He gently helped her to her feet.
“You gave me a gift yesterday,” she said frantically. “At my birthday party You remember me, don’t you?”
For one brief moment, Michael held her gaze.
Ria searched his face desperately, silently begging for recognition. But his expression remained unreadable.
Without answering, he slowly released her hand and stepped away.
Alpha Klein quickly gestured toward a chair.
“Please sit, Alpha Moon,” he said nervously before glancing back at Ria with irritation. “Forgive the embarrassment caused by my servant, Charlotte, She’s always causing trouble.”
Servant?Ria’s chest tightened painfully.
Klein continued speaking, trying hard to pull Michael’s attention away from her, but Michael remained silent.Still watching her.
Something flickered briefly across his face before he abruptly looked away.
Ria noticed it and somehow, that hurt more even more..Without another word, she turned and walked out of the room.
Her mind spun violently as she reached one of the open balconies overlooking the massive fortress grounds.
But halfway there, someone blocked her path.
Serene.
The woman immediately stepped back protectively, holding her stomach.
“Are you trying to hurt my baby now? she snapped. “
Ria stared at her silently.“You need to understand something,” Kira continued smugly. “Nothing will ever make Alpha Klein choose you You’re barren, Charlotte. Completely empty.”
Her lips curled cruelly.
“You should leave instead of clinging to false hope.”
For several seconds, Ria said nothing.
Then slowly She smiled as Kira frowned slightly.
The softness in Ria’s expression vanished completely as she stepped closer.
“You know,” Ria said quietly, “you’ve always been like this Even in the other life I knew you in.”
Kira stiffened instantly.
“You always wanted what belonged to me.”
Ria let out a bitter laugh.
“So honestly? I’m not surprised to find you here as Alpha Klein’s precious Luna. Of course they’d choose someone like you to play the role of husband-stealing opportunist.”
Kira’s eyes widened. She looked genuinely shaken.
Ria leaned closer.
“But you can have him.”Her voice turned cold.
“I don’t know him. I don’t remember him. And I don’t even want to.”
She stepped back slowly.
“So congratulations, Serene… or rather Kira. Whatever name you’re using here.”
Ria turned and walked away.Kira remained frozen in place. Her heartbeat pounded violently against her chest as she stared after Ria in disbelief.
“What… what was that?” she whispered shakily. “Why did she suddenly change?”
“Luna Serene.”
A deep voice suddenly spoke behind her.Kira flinched hard as she turned immediately.
Alpha Moon stood there, watching her carefully as a calm smile rested on his face.
“My name is Kira,” she corrected quickly, lowering her gaze. “I don’t know anyone named Serene.”
That same night, during the normal time for dinner, the food was graciously served just as always. The smoky aroma of the perfectly grilled, richly garnished steak filled the entire dining hall, blending with the warm scent of butter and herbs until the whole place felt inviting. The dishes were carefully arranged on the long dining table, and at that same moment, Alpha Klein stepped forward and took his seat.He glanced briefly at Ria before turning his attention back to the meal. Picking up his fork, he was about to cut into the juicy piece of steak when Ria quickly reached over and took the fork from his hand.He froze.Slowly, he turned to her.“What’s that supposed to mean?” he asked, his brows knitting together.Without answering him immediately, Ria rose from her seat and turned toward the cook who had served the meal.“I would prefer that she tastes the food first.”The moment those words left her lips, the cook almost dropped the tray she was holding. Her eyes widened in pani
Alpha Klein moved closer to Ria—not too close, but close enough to catch the faint scent that lingered around her. His piercing eyes locked onto hers as Ria instinctively tried to step back. Before she could, his hand shot out and wrapped firmly around her wrist, stopping her.He stared deeply into her eyes, searching every flicker of emotion.“What is hidden inside that head of yours?” he asked quietly, his voice calm but dangerously sharp. “What are you hiding that suddenly made you so desperate to cross into another border?”He narrowed his eyes.“Are you trying to hide… or are you planning to form another alliance?”Ria quickly shook her head.“Of course not, Alpha Klein. I just wanted to see what the other territories are like. And… for a long time, I’ve wondered how you’ve managed to rule this place as the greatest Alpha.”Klein immediately shook his head.“Don’t say that.”He pointed a finger at her before looking away.“You’re hiding something. I don’t know what it is yet… but
As Ria finished saying those last words to Alpha Klein, her heart trembled. She almost staggered as countless thoughts raced through her mind. What if the trackers never went anywhere? What if they simply carried out the new task he had given them instead? What would happen to her mother? The thoughts echoed endlessly in her mind as she slowly walked back to her room. That same evening, Alpha Klein summoned his trackers once again. This time, he sent them to investigate a nearby rogue pack.At the exact moment they were about to leave, he had already positioned himself along the route they would most likely take and waited in hiding. When the trackers departed, they first headed straight toward the location mentioned in the message. They carefully followed the trail until they reached the place. After arriving, they remained there for nearly an hour while Alpha Klein silently watched them from a distance.Eventually, they left the area and diverted toward another path.Alpha Klein con
Ria grabbed the leaf from Alpha Klein. He stood there for a moment, staring at her before turning around and leaving her alone with her mother. The others glanced back briefly before walking away,Ria quickly helped the woman up from the floor and led her toward her room.As soon as they entered, she shut the door behind them.“Why would you admit to this when it clearly wasn’t you?”Ria’s voice came out immediately as the woman remained silent,Ria gently held her shoulders.“I know you didn’t do it, and no one can convince me otherwise.”She raised the leaf.“This,I will find out where it came from and who did this and you don’t have to take the blame.”The woman’s voice came quietly.“I did it, Ria…”Ria’s face darkened as she slowly sat down on the bed.“Do you even realize what you’re admitting to?”“Alpha Klein could kill you for this, you didn’t do it.”“No… you didn’t.”The woman slowly shook her head.“I served the water to him.”Ria’s eyes widened as the woman nodded.“Yes Ria,
Alpha Klein didn’t say anything when he saw Ria quietly tiptoeing back into the room.Instead, he stretched lazily on the bed, his eyes still heavy with sleep.“I looked for you…” he murmured in a sleepy whisper as he adjusted the blanket over himself.Ria let out a slow breath.“I went to be with my mother…”Alpha Klein didn’t respond and within seconds, his soft snores filled the room once again.Ria remained standing for a while before quietly lying down on the bed.But sleep didn’t come immediately. Her thoughts drifted back to everything she had witnessed.Dan…Dan was dead.Who killed him?Why were Klein’s trackers already there before it happened? How did they know something was going to happen at that place? And the biggest question of all…Why didn’t they do anything? They watched everything happen,They watched Dan struggle.Watched him get stabbed, watched him die.Yet…None of them moved.Question after question flooded her mind until exhaustion finally won.Her eyes slowly c
Her Mother’s face remained mute, as though she hadn’t noticed that the padlock to her room had suddenly been changed. She still acted as though everything was normal, but she felt a strange uneasiness that she couldn’t bring herself to explain. Alpha Klein removed his gaze from her and fixed it on her mother. “This will be the room for your stay. I hope you will feel comfortable in it.” Her mother remained calm. She sat still and only gave a tiny nod,Alpha Klein turned toward ria and held her hand gently. “You don’t have to worry about anything or Ethan attacking you all again. This place is fully secured.” She nodded and slowly released the breath she had been holding because she was aimlessly waiting for tonight. Bella had grown restless ever since she heard that the trackers would be leaving tonight. It was exactly 8:00 p.m. that same evening when she noticed movement.First from Alpha Klein. She had agreed to sleep in the same bed with him. She hadn’t agreed to be in
“I have never trusted you, Charlotte, and I wouldn’t start doing that now.”Serene spoke the moment Alpha Klein left.“Why are you suddenly trying to fight your father, Ethan? Why are you trying to become an ally to a place where you don’t belong? What are you hiding?Ria said nothing. Instead, she
The Shadow Pack had been attacked. The guard’s voice cut through the tense silence as he rushed toward Alpha Klein.Serene quietly exhaled, relief flickering across her face as the attention shifted away from her.Alpha Klein’s eyes widened.“Attacked?”He spun sharply toward the guard.“They kille
Ria went deeper into the forest until she reached a clear opening. The center of the place looked strangely neat as though someone had deliberately cleared it for a purpose. Moonlight poured through the trees as it illuminate the ground on her feet,She slowly lowered her gaze and that was when
After the attack, the white wolf dashed straight into the forest as the entire gathering instantly turned tense as murmurs slowly erupted around the courtyard. This had never happened before and no one had ever expected a white wolf to suddenly attack Ethan and then stop immediately as though some
