Chapter 19: Kathleen's Past
Kathleen gaped in disbelief with what happened. She was momentarily stunned, she didn't know how to react to that situation. Her face was burning up due to embarrassment and her cheeks slightly turned pink. Aaron chuckled as he saw her face. He escorted her again into the VIP elevator and laughed when the doors were closed.
Seeing him laughing nonstop inside the elevator, Kathleen was utterly confused. She couldn't fathom what just happened. 'What kind of mess did I get myself into? I was just his secretary when I left the building before. Now that we returned, I suddenly became his girlfriend. And I don't even know if he meant it to be real or fake,' she muttered internally, still staring at Aaron who looked so amused for no apparent reason.
The VIP elevator reached the top floor and Aaron walked out without waiting for her. The man directly entered his office room again. Kathleen slowly returned to her desk and sat down dejectedly.
