" Henry are you cheating on me ? Pearl asked looking pissed .....

I ignored her and walked to the bedroom ,she ran after me

" Don't you dare ignore me Henry ! Don't you dare ! She yelled and I sighed ....

" I'm not cheating on you and you know that " I replied trying not to raise my voice .

I don't need this nagging ,not now .

" I don't know anything anymore Henry ,I don't ! Why did that slut slap you ? And why was she saying it was over ? She yelled again

" Kheera is not a slut and you need to stop yelling " I half yelled back at her ....

" So her name is kheera? She asked and I shrugged

All of a sudden she bursted into tears .

Omg not again !

" Now you're defending her ,she's your mistress right ? You like her more than me right? She cried .....

Is this what I'm going to live with for the rest of my life ?

Hell no!

After we get married and I get her parents to sign the deal I'm getting a divorce !

Why will I leave kheera for such a cry baby ? I'll explain things to kheera and I know she'll take me back .

I moved closer to her and I circled her with my arms ,she pushed me away at first but calmed down since I didn't stop trying to hug her .....

'' I didn't mean to say that to you , I'm sorry , I'm sorry ,I love you " I replied turning her face to face mine and I kissed her.

I woke up feeling embarrassed ....

What the heck happened last night?

What was I thinking?

Why did I suddenly turn to a jelly when Raymond hugged me ?

The most embarrassing part was when he fell on me and I closed my eyes expecting him to kiss me and he stood up hurriedly

I must be really crazy !

My phone rang and I immediately hurried to where I placed it .

Mum!

I'm going to listen to a lot of nagging this morning ,I can't deal with it .

I ignored the call and went to my social media page, I saw a message from Henry ...

I paused for a while before I clicked on it .

'' I'm sorry about what happened yesterday

I know I must have ruined your birthday , I'm really sorry about that .

A lot of things are going on and I know you won't understand

But you should know I love you khee ".

I hissed and threw my phone on the bed .

Does he have personality issues or something?

One minute he's in love with one pearl and another he's in love with me ,he's crazy !

But he said some things are going on , should I ask about it?

No! He's not my boyfriend anymore!

I picked my phone and cleared the love emojis I put in front of the boldly written MINE and changed his name to just Henry!

Should I delete his number ?

Should I block him ?

I threw my phone on the bed again and walked to my dressing mirror when I saw the necklace he bought for me last year on my birthday ...

I picked it up carefully , remembering the events that took place that day .

It was a romantic dinner date ,he bought me flowers and all sorts of gifts then placed the necklace gently on my neck .

'' I love you now and forever khee " were the words he said that night .....

Those memories brought tears to my eyes ....

How can someone just change overnight?

Well he didn't change all of a sudden ,I saw the signs ,I refused to acknowledge it .....

Why should I keep the things he bought for me when he's no more in my life ? .

I packed the necklace ,the clothes he bought for me ,his shirt ..... I paused inhaling his perfume that came from the shirt , I started crying again ....

I packed everything and took a lighter from the kitchen to burn it , I was about opening the door when someone knocked .

"Who is it ? I asked pissed at whoever is there

" Raymond" the person replied

" Ray ? I called

'' yes " he replied

As if struck by lightning I quickly hid the clothes and jewelries I was about to burn .

" Can I come in ? He asked

" Wait ! " I yelled

'' are you busy ? Should I come back later ? I just came to check if you were fine " he replied ...

'' Just give me five minutes " I replied ,ran to my wardrobe ,picked out new sets of clothings , quickly wore a short gown ,tied my hair into two buns ,wiped the tears off my face and rushed to the door ......

" Hey " I greeted smiling nervously

Why am I suddenly nervous around Ray?

'' can I come in ? He asked still at the door .

I quickly opened the door wide

" Of course you can " I replied letting him in ...

My apartment is a small room with my kitchen and bathroom in the same room so everything is kinda packed ,since I was going to move in with Henry when we get married I thought living here was fine .

Damn that Henry! I can't believe my whole world revolved around him .

The only space available to sit is on my bed and that was when I realized my underwear was lying helplessly on the bed ,I almost screamed .

I ran as if I was being chased to the bed ,I picked it up carefully with my hand at my back and threw it under my pillow .

'' you don't need to be embarrassed about these things ,I see a lot of these things in Tracy's house " he said smiling .

I rolled my eyes at him .

I am not Tracy.

'' of course " I replied forcing a smile with gritted teeth .

'' please have your seat " I continued pointing my hand to the bed .

" What should I offer you? I asked

He nodded his head gently '' don't bother I'm fine " he replied.

He sat carefully and that was when I was able to take a good look at him ,he looked nice in the white round neck he wore over a blue jean .

Why am I just noticing how cute he looks?

'' Do I look bad ? He asked bringing me out of my thoughts and embarrassing me again ,I can't believe I allowed him catch me checking him out .

" Of course not . Uhm how's your business doing? I asked smiling ,I needed to change the line of the conversation .

And that reminded me that my work leave would be ending next week .

Oh good lord !

" Business is fine ....I made a new wine with new combinations ,will you like to try it out sometime? He asked and I smiled .

He makes wine and he's good at what he does .

'' of course I'd love that " I replied still smiling .

'' so ....uhm ....how are you ? He asked with this tender voice filled with concern .

Is he worried about me ?

'' I uhm. I'm fine ." I replied

" Are you sure about that ? He said staring straight into my eyes and at that moment my brain started malfunctioning .

Kheera this is your bestfriend's younger brother for God sakes!
