Do you have anything of value to offer me?”Henson’s face twisted with a mixture of frustration and helplessness. He opened his mouth to argue, but the words died in his throat. She was right. Sitting here, after everything, he realized his worth had diminished—there was little he could offer her now.Hannah sneered. “Good. That’s the only way you’ll get your answer.” His tone grew sharper. “You should leave my office now, or I’ll have security escort you out—and I might even have you arrested.”Panic surged through Hannah.
