LOGINARIA
Glaring into my eyes, he fixes his hoodie, covering his shimmering blonde hair. The dim light in the corridor sharpens his features, especially his jawline, sharp as a blade. The white shirt on his chest is loosened on the bottom edge while his muscles are coming forth against the fabric, flexing his broad shoulders. He is so tall that I am covered in his shadow. There's a tense look shrouding his face which clearly states he's not friendly. The school is crowded with rumors about him. Jay Manchester is never in class, always fooling around on the terrace with his gang of five members who are like his minions. He made the gang to make things difficult for the disciplinary committee because of his bad blood with Rizz Sylvester. I heard they used to be good friends but then something happened between them. No one in the academy knows about it. Now, they're good friends turned into sworn enemies. While Rizz runs the academy with discipline, Jay bullies the students. He is rebellious and involved in all sorts of illegal excitements. Just because his father is close to Lozark Aylestone, no one can touch the hair on his head. He has the upper hand. “S-Sorry.” My lips take the initiative to apologize. “Move out of the way!” He slightly shoves me to the side with a single touch of his palm on my shoulder. His voice is deep, lacking politeness. I am already pissed, and now his attitude!!! Before stepping into the room, he glances at me again, so cold, and so fierce. I can feel an unspoken tension revolving around us. *Why is he looking at me like that?* He slowly turns his head to the door and enters the room, slamming it behind his broad back, startling me. I sigh, leaving the dim corridor. Rage is piling up inside me, and I am not good at holding it back. If Victor finds out about the restroom incident, he'll lose his damn mind. Hale used to call me a ticking bomb, always ready to fight, stubborn, a sharp tongue, and short temper. It's getting hard for me to hide these qualities. The rest of the day, I attend all my classes, observing each and every male student, and taking notes on them. In my last class, Ezek sits next to me. “I heard what happened.” “Rizz Sylvester put me on swimming pool duty for a whole month.” “You’re lucky it's better than the other punishments!” He sighs. My brows furrow. “Last summer, he put a student on shoe cleaning duties.” “What?” I am taken aback. He nods his head, fixing his glasses. “Ezek…Tell me what is Rizz Sylvester’s background?” “He is Lozark Aylestone’s sister's son. Though his father died in the war with hunters, he lives with his mother in Lozark Aylestone's private mansion.” “Who was his father?” “Have you been living under a rock? How could you not know the gossip of our pack?” “Ehm…I have been sick in bed since childhood in the orphanage. Gossip never really reached me, so please bear with my curiosity.” “Okay! Okay!” He moves his lips closer. “Nicloir Sylvester, Rizz’s father, was our Alpha until he died in the war when Rizz was ten. After his death, Lozark Aylestone took over the throne because Rizz was too young to lead our pack, and everything changed.” “Rizz lost his position forever. Now, Lozark’s son will inherit the throne.” “Do you know anything about Lozark's son?” He shrugs his shoulders. Well, I got enough information. *Jay and Rizz have solid background information. They are the closest link to the Alpha's son.* As the night comes, I am the only one left in the quiet swimming pool. After almost spending an hour cleaning it, my body dives into a warm shower in the washroom next to the pool. Stepping out, a shadow lingering on the wall draws my attention. *Who could it be?* My feet slowly take steps toward the wall, a gloomy feeling following me. “Who's there?” No response but the shadow is still on the wall. The moment I reach the wall, a strong force wraps me around and pins me aggressively against the wall. “Jerek?” My eyes widen. He's back for revenge if I'm not wrong. “You think you can slap me in front of others and get away with it?” He cups my cheek, pressing his chest on mine. In a flash, his nails curl into claws and rip off my top from the right shoulder. I don't panic, trying to reach the dagger tucked behind my waist, but his wolf’s strength is almost making it impossible for me. A jostle of strength stirs between us. The more fiercely I'm struggling against his strength, the tighter he's gripping me. Even as a hunter, it's hard for me to beat a wolf's strength without a weapon. “You can't escape me tonight!” His devilish voice brushes through my ear. Since I have been using my legs fighting him too much, he blocks them with his thighs and ceases my hands behind my waist. My bracelet makes a soft creak sound as if it's about to break. “GET OFF ME!” He keeps charging himself on me, sniffing my neck, forcibly trying to steal a kiss. Despite his strength, I somehow reach the handle of the dagger tucked beneath my shirt and pull it out while blocking his lips from touching me. He reveals his fangs, moving them closer to my neck with the intent of grasping my skin. Inhaling a breath, I poke the tip of the dagger into the skin of his palm, brutally enough for him to unleash a scream and step back. “You bitch!” He curses under his breath. I turn to him clenching the handle of the dagger tightly in my grip. Without warning, he jumps on me, causing the dagger to slip from my grip, and slide far from my reach. As my feet stride to the dagger, he wraps his masculine arms around my waist, shoving me onto the floor. He stands tall above me, placing his feet on either side of my waist. Our eyes engage in a fiery tug of war and a vicious smirk comes across his face. “You'll be mine tonight, and the whole academy will know it by tomorrow morning.” He starts unbuttoning his shirt.ARIA“Let go of him!” I growl, warning Raven. He wouldn't listen. Wild madness dancing in his cruel, blue eyes. Though he's bleeding, his eyes are still greedy, holding the dream of the Alpha's throne.“Kill Jay, give me the Red Ruby, and come back to me.” He offers a deal. “Please stop it. Stop it.”He starts laughing maniacally. “Raven, please.” He holds back his maniacal laughter and looks deeply into my eyes. “Okay…” A sigh escapes his lips.“Beg me on your knees, Aria.” He orders.“Raven! Don't cross the line!” Jay growls, closing his fingers into a tight fist.“ It's fine.” My lips whisper.I kneel on the muddy ground and beg him to spare Rizz. He's severely bleeding. Raven stabbed him right at the heart, the poison in his claws slowly spreading to Rizz's body.“If we don't take him to the hospital, he'll die. For the Moon Goddess’s sake, I beg you.”“You look nice begging me.” The corner of his lips curves devilishly. “Now remove your clothes and beg me.” “Raven!” Victor g
JAYRaven disappears into the thin air, but he doesn't vanish alone, he takes me with him. This was our plan all along. We knew Raven wouldn't bring Aria with him. He's selfish. Still, Rizz sent Dalia and Prince to search the woods, making sure our doubts were correct about him. When Rizz killed Lozark Aylestone, I sneakily looked at Victor. On my signal, he dropped the smoke bomb in his hand to the ground, and dark, gray fog covered the woods. It was a trap for Raven, and he stepped into it.Greedy for the Red Ruby, he pushed an anesthesia into my skin. I pretended to lose my senses and played along. Victor had already fed me the medicine immune to anesthesia. When he was focused on the route, I placed a mini tracker in his shirt. The signal would send Rizz our exact location. Reaching a mansion in the middle of nowhere, he drags me to a room in the corner. That's when I see her, Aria. She's inside a cage. The second our wolf senses my presence, she turns her head to me. Her eyes
RIZZDalia and Prince send a smoke signal, revealing Aria is nowhere in the woods. Raven is playing with us.“You didn't bring her.” My voice growls.“Oh! You found out?” He raises a brow, stretching a devilish smile on his lips. “What will you do now? Aria is still in my cage. It's either her or Jay. The choice is yours.”“Rizz, my son, come here.” Lozark orders. The guards surround the entire woods.“Nothing is more important than the throne. Hand over Jay to me. I'll help you find Aria.”“You'll find Aria?” Raven let out a chuckle.“The man who hates her the most is claiming to find her. Joke of the century. Don't get fooled by him, brother.” I notice Jay closing his fingers into a tight fist, and his knuckles turning white. He's getting furious, slowly aggressive.“RAVEN!” Lozark groans angrily.“Don't forget your place. I'm your father.”Raven laughs maniacally, the sound of his laugh echoing through the woods. The birds leave their nests in the trees and fly away.“Father? You
RIZZLuckily, another antidote comes out of Victor's pocket. He makes a risky effort, yet Jay growls at him, blocking his movement.“I’ll distract him.” My lips whisper. As Victor nods his head, I rush to Jay's right side and openly challenge him. The feral, red, glow in his eyes shifts to me.Jay groans, fire coming out of his mouth. Just when he lurches a step in my direction, scratching his claws against the marble flooring, Victor rushes to him and pushes a sharp needle into the left skin of his arm.The red wolf behind him slowly disappears, and he faints to the floor. Prince and I don't waste a second and drag Jay out of the ceremony. Victor and Dalia follow us.Coming back to Victor's house, we let Jay rest in Aria's bed. After hours, he regained his senses. The wolf in him is silent now. Fera is sleeping in her room, while Aunt Ivy joins us.“I need to save her.” His first words weren't about what happened in the ceremony. Instead, he wanted to be with Aria.“The Red Ruby is i
RIZZA ceremony was announced. The whole pack is invited. I see all the faces around me, no one is left. From higher-ups to lower omegas. The ceremony is about me. Lozark Aylestone is about to make his announcement official.I feel suffocated. The throne, the crown, everything feels like a burden. My wolf growls, urging me to leave the crowd and hide somewhere in a corner.Victor arrives with the gang. They remain in a corner, distancing themselves from the crowd. Only Aunt Ivy and Fera are home. We fed Jay an antidote. He's in control…for now.Lozark stands on the grand stage, drawing everyone's attention. A tight smile stretches across his lips. “Thank you for coming.” His gaze shifts to me. “Come here, my son.”I hated it. I hated it to the core.Suppressing my rage, my pain, and my disgust, I walked up to the stage. The sound of clapping surrounded me like a thousand birds flapping together in a cage.My own breathing seems to be choking me.“This is my son, Raven Aylestone.” The
ARIAThe news turns him crazier. He breaks almost everything in the luxurious room, including the grand, antique mirror. “The throne is mine!” He groans angrily, his veins tighten against his skin on his forehead. Rage has completely taken over him.I laugh inside the cage, drawing his attention, and he glares into my eyes. The already fuming flame intensifies in his eyes.“You did this, didn't you?” He slowly takes steps towards the cage again. My lips don't stop laughing.Coming inches closer, he clutches my hair, snatching off the smile from my lips.“It must be your idea to make Rizz the heir. You stole the Red Ruby. Now, you gave him the throne that I wanted.” His words are not speaking, they're carrying lava.“You killed my brother, Hale. You killed my friends, Ella and Ezek. You killed Raya. You killed so many innocent people. Fera is your sister, your own sister, but you didn't spare her. She lost her damn mind. Raven Aylestone, I will never let you have the throne. That's t
