CHAPTER 60

As soon as we got out of the airport, I called Grandma to ask where Honey was and she said she took her to school and she just went home to prepare for lunch.

Jeonghan took my hand in his after we got out of the car, heading towards the building of Honey’s school. I couldn’t wait to see her again and I was too excited that my hands were shaking while Jeonghan held them tight.

I could feel that he was more nervous than I was. “She’s supposed to have an English class right now," I said as we headed to the first-grade classrooms.

Jeonghan squeezed my hand in appreciation, a small smile tugging at his lips. He said I was such an attentive mother, and he’s grateful that I had been a great single parent while he was away.

When we reached her classroom, the English class caught our attention right away because it’s filled with more people. I noticed that the students were having a speech lesson and had invited the parents.
