NATHALIE’S POV

I opened my mouth but chose to close it again.

If we were to spend the night here in Molokai, I would like to make the most of our stay here, like sightseeing. I might not go here again in the next ten years. I haven’t memorized Molokai, and I lack extra funds for sightseeing.

“Is there a problem?” Sir Calix asked as he sat down again.

I shook my head. “No, Sir.”

Regardless, it exceeded two in the afternoon; sightseeing was no longer feasible.

I continued eating. Sir Calix finished the rice I put in the crab shells with crab fat, then I finished all the food and he focused his full attention and gaze on his phone.

After a while, someone called him and he answered it without standing up.

“Yes. Yes. Yeah. Okay.”

I couldn’t help but steal a glance at him as he spoke on the phone. Was that a conversation? He only uttered a single word to the person he addressed, marked by a unique sound.
