I was too drowsy to stay up and wait for Tyler’s return. By the time I woke, he was already beside me—hugging me.

“Good morning, Ty.” I greeted him softly.
“Good morning.” He greeted with his eyes closed.
“Have you been awake for a while?”
He nuzzled his face into my neck.
NATHALIEâS POV đ-âHi, Nathalie,â Fiona greeted cheerfully as I opened the door for her. âI saw this box outside, the receiver was in your and Tylerâs names, so I grabbed it to give it to you.âI was so terrified and rattled after speaking with Calix that I forgot about the package.âThank you,â then took it as she handed it to me.I opened the door wide for her, gave her house slippers, then sprayed her hands, her body, and her briefcase with alcohol.âSorry. If you push through with marrying someone else, you wonât ever learn your motherâs whereabouts.âI slapped him in the face again and threatened, âYou bring up my motherâs name again, threaten me using my deceased mother again â I will never forgive you, Zander Calix Watson,â my voice quivered with fury.âAnd do you honestly think Iâd ever forgive you if you raised our children to recognize someone else as their father?â he said, barely holding back a shout. âBut I guess, I will forgive you, because I love you more than anything. Still, I wonât let you marry someone else.ââHow narrow-min

NATHALIE’S POV đ-I heard Mrs. Nova’s sigh on the other line. [“It’s disappointing you’re terminating this contract.
