Vivian got hit by a car?

Vivian was in the middle of her shift at the café when her boss called her into his office.

"Vivian, we just got a huge order from one of our clients, and I need you to deliver it," he said, handing her a paper bag full of pastries and coffee cups. "Can you handle it?"

Vivian nodded, eager to please her boss and prove her worth as an employee. She took the bag and left the café, hopping onto her bike and pedaling down the busy streets.

As she was crossing an intersection, a car suddenly swerved in her direction, narrowly missing her bike. Vivian slammed on the brakes, their heart racing as she watched the car come to a stop a few feet away.

The driver, a tall and handsome man, stepped out of the car and approached her.

"I'm so sorry," he said, his voice apologetic. "I didn't see you coming."

Vivian was furious. "Are you blind? You almost hit me!" she yelled, feeling the heat rise to her cheeks.

The man held up his hands in surrender. "I know, I know. I'm sorry.

The owner of the car came down from the car to see what happened.

He was wearing a black suit, tall and handsome, he walked towards Vivian and looked at her then removed some amount of money from his wallet and handed it to Vivian, and also gave her his business card.

"If you need more money, you can call the number on the card." The boss said.

"You are so rude. I don't need your money. You can't even apologize. Mcthew. I don't need your money!" Vivian hissed and threw the money with the card on him then left.

She hurried to make the delivery and apologized to the owner of the delivery. The person was understanding. She left the place and went back to the cafe.

When she returned to the café, her boss was waiting for her, hands on his hips.

"Vivian, where have you been? You're late!" he scolded

Vivian sighed, knowing she couldn't keep the encounter with the man a secret.

"Sorry, boss. I almost got hit by a car on the way there" she explained.

Her boss's expression softened. "Are you okay? Did you get hurt?"

"No, I'm fine," Vivian said, grateful for the concern. "But I was shaken up by it."

Her boss nodded. "I understand. Thank goodness you're okay. And did you deliver the order?"

"Yes, I did. It was a bit late, but the customer was understanding."

"Good," her boss said. "I'm glad everything worked out in the end. But if something like this happens again, please be careful."

Vivian nodded. "I will."

********

Rowan sat at his desk, staring at his computer screen.

He leaned back in his chair and glanced at the clock on the wall. It was almost time for the meeting.

He stood up and walked over to the door, opening it and calling out to his secretary, Max.

"Max, it's time for the meeting. Can you please round up everyone and have them come to the conference room?"

"Sure thing, Mr. Rowan," Max replied, standing up from his desk and grabbing his notepad.

As Max left the room, Rowan couldn't help but think about the girl he had met that morning. He had asked Max to do some research on her, and he was curious to hear what he had found out. He leaned back in his chair, tapping his fingers against his desk as he waited.

A few minutes later, Max returned, followed by the rest of the employees. Rowan stood up, greeting everyone with a smile.

"Good morning, everyone. I hope you're all doing well. As you know, we have a new contract opportunity, and I want us to come up with a plan to secure it. I'm looking for innovative ideas and fresh designs, so I'm asking our design team to come up with some new concepts, and our fashion illustrators to create some new illustrations. Let's make this the best proposal we've ever submitted."

The meeting lasted for about an hour, with everyone contributing their ideas and suggestions. Rowan was pleased with the outcome, and he thanked everyone for their hard work before dismissing them.

As the employees filed out of the conference room, Rowan motioned for Max to come into his office.

Rowan sat in his office, going through some documents when his secretary, Max, walked in. "Mr. Johnson, I have the information you requested on the girl we met this morning," Max said, holding out a file.

"Great. Let me see it," Rowan said, taking the file from Max.

"Her name is Vivian. She is 24 years old, and she works at a café in the city. She's been looking for other job opportunities because her mother is sick and she needs to take care of her. She's also an artist and does freelance work on the side."

Rowan took a moment to look over the file before nodding. "Interesting. Thank you for this, Max. I want you to set up a meeting with her. I'd like to speak with her myself."

"Of course, Mr. Rowan. I'll get it scheduled right away," Max said before walking out of the room.

As Max was leaving, Rowan's mind wandered to the idea he had earlier. He couldn't shake the feeling that Vivian could be the one to help him out with his situation. He wasn't sure how she would feel about the idea, but he had to at least try.
