Emily's Point Of View

I JOLTED UPRIGHT at the deafening raps on my bedroom door, the sound echoing through the stillness of the morning. My alarm clock blared eight a.m, but the sharp pang in my head warned me that the remnants of last night were still swirling around like a dark cloud.

I placed my left hand up to keep my head steady from spinning.

Squinting against the morning light, I realized I was still clothed in yesterday's outfit, the events of the night before a blank slate of confusion.

“Emily!” The door burst open, and Eren stormed in like a tempest. But something was off. The fire in his eyes flickered dangerously and wildly, and I feared if I stared into it so long I would be consumed whole by its burning flames so I looked away.

“Eren— What happened?” I asked, my heart racing in tune with the dread settling in my stomach. The atmosphere crackled with tension, and I knew whatever he had to say was grave.

“I just got a call from Finn. Something terrible happened to Russel

  • MY FOOTBALL ALPHA    Let the games begin

Emily's Point Of View My mouth gaped wide open while my heart raced as the chilling realization washed over me. My name, spelt by an unseen force. I could feel everyone's eyes burning at me, filled with a mix of shock and curiosity, and I felt every gaze like daggers. “Keep your hands on the board! Nobody take their hands off this board!” Mason’s voice was sharp, tinged with a fear that sent a shiver through me. “We could leave the door open to the other side.” What Mason said sounded dangerous but I had to, my mind was spiraling out of control. The planchette had spelled out my name—I would kill Russell. Panic surged through me, and before I could process anything else, I jerked my fingers off the planchette, shuddering in fear. “What did you do?” Mason shot back, yanking his hands off the planchette and placing them on his temple, his frustration palpable. “Now you just left the door to the other side wide open. This is going to have grave consequences especially if this sp

  • MY FOOTBALL ALPHA    The Other Side

Eren's Point Of View “Wanna take a risk? Now you have ten seconds to tell me why you have these drawings?” I grit, and I wasn't bluffing. It was either Zane was right; Mason was the bastard that assaulted Emily, or all this could just be a coincidence. But either way, after seeing what he has in that book he knows too much and is a threat to our existence. Killing him won't mean much. “Three… Two…” I count to the end of the timer. “I'll talk, Eren, I will tell you anything you need to know!” He choked, begging to be spared. He must have sensed I wasn't playing around. I let go of him, dropping him on the floor as he gasped for air. I drew a chair and settled before Mason, my rage simmering just beneath the surface. “Start talking,” I commanded, my voice low and edged with impatience. “Not too long ago, I started having these dreams. At first, I thought they were just memories, figments my mind made up but I soon discovered they were not just memories once I started go

  • MY FOOTBALL ALPHA    The surprise party

Emily's Point Of View The warm glow of my bedroom lights flickered against the walls, casting shadows that danced as I got dressed for Stephanie's surprise party tonight. Cameron had communicated the plans for the party. We were having it at Mason's old Mansion. Apparently, he is an orphan that comes from a very wealthy family in New Jersey. I look at the time again and it's just an hour more. I'm almost done with my makeup but as I stare into the mirror and see myself, I remember the ominous note I received in my car the other day. ‘ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. I'M GOING TO GET YOU, STONEHEART!’ I shudder at the memory, the words sent a chill down my spine. My stalker had managed to get into my car and place that old 80s track and he even left a note. This means I am on a very close watch and my stalker could even get into where I stay. I wasn't safe at all. And what was up with the song choice? Was it just a random pick or was it some kind of a clue? ‘Emily you are overthinking i

Eren's Point Of View“Chase is furious about your attack on his pack, I even heard some rumors that he is plotting a retaliation.” Finn’s voice was a blend of caution and disbelief, yet I couldn’t help but let out a low chuckle. Fury was the least of Chase’s concerns; after all he’d done, he had no right to feel indignant. He should consider himself fortunate to still have a heartbeat in his chest.“If Chase wants to retaliate, then let him. It’ll give me the chance to finish him once and for all. This time, mercy won't be part of the equation.” My voice dripped with a cold resolve.“But did you really need to attack his territory like that?” Finn pressed, concern etching his brow.“I told you before, Finn. I needed to let out some rage. Besides, Chase and his little minions needed to be taught a lesson in humility.” My words were clipped.“But that may have put Emily in grave danger. What if he decides to target Emily to get back at you? This may put a big target on her back.” Finn's

  • MY FOOTBALL ALPHA    ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!

Emily's Point Of ViewWhen I open my eyes, the sun has risen and it's bright rays and warmth enveloping the entire room. It's morning already. It feels surreal how I managed to sleep despite what happened yesterday. Even Esme couldn't believe how peaceful we managed to rest last night; it felt like magic. No, it was the Eren effect. My heart rate is steady, and I feel calm—much calmer than before. I didn't have any bad dreams, which is quite a relief considering how traumatized I was after the attack. The bed beside me feels cold, and I sit up.Eren is gone.I get up from the bed and totter outside the room. While I'm walking down the hallway, I find Eren entering the foyer. He turns to me. And the scene in front of me seems so familiar, as I've imagined it before in my mind. Like a scene I have seen a hundred times before, playing in slow motion.Sweat is all over his body. His thin undershirt clings perfectly to his frame, revealing his six-pack abs, his hands dirtied with oil. His

  • MY FOOTBALL ALPHA    Rage

Eren's Point Of View I wrap my arms around Emily's shoulders, cuddling her to sleep. She needed to rest; she had a really fucked up night. One that was all my fault. This pain she felt, it was all my fault and I will be damned if I allow it to happen again. I should have protected her better. It was my duty as her guardian entrusted by Peter. She was mine to shield and protect from this world and I almost let that vermin get his way with her. Thank the moon goddess that I came in just in time or else tonight would have ended up much worse. I was going to kill that bastard that dared to touch my person. Whoever he was, I was going to hunt him down and kill him. ‘She is asleep now, human!’ I heard Zane, my wolf, growl in my mind. He was eager to get some payback. To punch something, anything to release the rage we both felt. He wanted to spill some blood. My phone screen lit up, it was a text message from Finn. ‘I’m outside Stoneheart's place.’ the text read. I slowly go

  • MY FOOTBALL ALPHA    Warm and Safe

Emily's Point Of View Tears blurred my vision, as I stared at Eren storming in our direction like a tempest. I can't believe that someone actually came to save me.The sick, perverted psychopath abruptly lets go of me, pushing me to the ground even deeper. And like a fucking coward, he wastes no time to run off, leaving me here with mouth agape, on the ground.Slowly, I can feel the Wolfsbane wear off, and my paralysis loosening its suffocating grip."Don't you dare run, you bloody bastard." Eren's voice rang out, filled with fury, and he was ready to run after him. But when he sees the state that I'm in, he stops dead in his tracks. He froze, his breath hitching; I could see that he was shocked by how I looked. His red eyes flashed, momentarily vibrant, before they softened, melting back into the calming shade of green. My head pulses with sharp pain, and I wince, touching my forehead. Then I find blood on my palm. My forehead is apparently bleeding from the hard smack against the g

I'm glad our school got the win though, and it was mostly thanks to Eren.” Stephanie said, as she escorted me out of the school premises. It was fairly dark now, as the time was some minutes past eight. The street lights flickered on, casting a warm glow as darkness enveloped us.“Did you notice how he kept looking at you after every touchdown? Oh my God! It was the perfect mix of cute and sexy. I bet your heart was racing all through the match—don’t even try to deny it!” Stephanie says, nudging me playfully. She continued teasing me, succeeding to make me blush.“Yes I will admit—the way he kept looking at me made me lose my breath. It also left me confused because why did he do it? What does he mean by that?” I say in utter confusion.I didn't understand why he looked up at me, with those eyes. There was someth
