Chapter 10: Regret

Evelyn's P.O.V

Dylan: Had fun?

I looked at him blankly but he kept glaring at me. 

"Evie"

Suddenly I heard Mom's voice. I looked behind Dylan only to see my mother coming towards me while smiling at me. I smiled back.

Evie: Mom.

I approached her. She hugged me. 

Mom: Enjoyed your hangout.

I chuckled.

Evie: Yes, a lot. Thank-you so much, Mom.

I chirped. She then side hugged me and took me inside.

Dylan kept staring at Evelyn while they both went inside the mansion ignoring his presence completely. Again, anger started building up in him but he recalled his Dad's words and calmed down.

Dylan: I'll see you later.
