Christian offered his blue pen and Mishka started signing each document, but when she reached the last page, she stifled out a chuckle and Christian stared at her, knitting his eyebrows. “What happened? Is there something wrong?” He asked, gawking at her smiling face.

Mishka exhaled deeply, signed the last page, and forwarded the file back in Christian’s direction. “Nothing, I was thinking that probably I’m the first and” She paused, glancing up at Christian’s face, “the last girl in the world who has signed her divorce papers before her wedding.”

Christian’s hand stopped midway but then he slowly grasped the file from her hand. He opened his mouth to say something when Agatha knocked on the open door. “Madam, I brought you a tuna sandwich and fresh orange juice,” she smiled, gesturing at the tray she was holding in her hand.
