CHAPTER 48: VOWS

The priest and the groom arrived at the same time. The invited guest were already seated, everyone admiring the scene. Everything was ready and the only person they were waiting was Milka.

Ivana was already prepared. John was still sleeping, alcohol was still in his head. Miss Grace took his grandson and walked out to the decor.

Ivana went to Milka's room, “Ate you ready, my dear?” She asked with a smile

I have never been ready.

“Milka, it's your day, you look so beautiful and gorgeous. I wish you the best in your marriage, I may be a divorce, but I will be there to guide you when marriage becomes unbearable. Love your husband, cherish him and be submissive, never decide without consulting him,” Ivana advised.

Milka nodded.

“I love you so much, and I am going to miss you,” Ivana said.

“Awwww don't make me emotional, I will be visiting you guys”, Milka said.

“Come here,” Ivana said as she pulled her into a hug.

“And one thing before we walk out, “I want to be a godmother,” Ivana said
