Jane’s POVThe alarm did not even ring but I was awake. My body was still feeling heavy as it was exhausted from the travel and yet here I was back in the apartment, back to the daily routine of my life, back to work. I stretched as the morning light shone on my face. The soft rays just made the room feel alive. I stood up and then I stepped out of my room“Good morning, Jane.” I heard a voice from the kitchen. I blinked my eyes as I smiled as Sarah looked at me.“Morning Sarah.” I said as my voice sounded deep from sleep. Hannah peeped from the back of the kitchen counter as she rubbed her eyes. “You woke up early.” Hannah said.“Yeah I have to get ready for work on time.” I yawned. I went to the kitchen as I looked at what they were making.“You really want to be early today.” Sarah said as she poured a cup of coffee for me. “I have to,” I smiled. “I haven't been at work for a long time now so I can't afford to be late.” I said as I grabbed the cup of coffee.“It feels good

Jane’s POVSaying goodbye was not as easy as I expected. No matter how many times I told myself it would be easy, it wasn't. I stood at the doorway of my parents house with my little bag beside me as the familiar smell of home was clinging to my clothes as if it did not want to let go. The sun that was coming from the morning was very bright as the curtains filtered it.My dad was standing a few steps away. He was leaning on his cane as he was looking at me.He was better now though he had not fully recovered. “Are you sure you have packed everything you need?” My mum asked me as she was folding my collar.“Yes mum, I'm sure.” I said as I smiled at her. “I have already checked twice now.”“I just don't like the idea of you leaving in a hurry, I really wish you could spend more time.” Mum said.“I have to go mum, I need to get back to work so I can send money home.” I said as I looked at her.“She has already done enough, I don't think it's a good thing if she keeps missing work day

Kennedy’s POVThe apartment was now very quiet again. It was the type that was able to make footsteps echo and every shift noticed. Sophia had left hours ago as the calm and peace that she brought just left with her. I was alone. Everything felt heavy again. I just sat down there as I was waiting for the next surprise to happen since they weren't new to me anymore.I sat on the edge of the couch as I now rested my elbows on my knees and my fingers were just holding my new phone. Jane’s POVThe rays that were coming from the sunlight were filtered through the curtains and it brought light into the living room. It was gentle and warm. The house was quiet but it was also very peaceful. Today was the last morning Ella would be spending here. Since she came she has been here for two days. She helped me with mum in the kitchen and also looked after my dad when I and mum went to get groceries. This morning she was in the kitchen as she was helping my mum with breakfast.
